Luxury Tuscany Villa with Staff in Private Estate

Boasting uncompromised peace and privacy, Colonica Touri is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse with air conditioned bedrooms, a private swimming pool and chef services for six breakfasts a week.



Lower ground floor: Twelve steps down from the courtyard, on the right side of the front entrance of the villa. At the end of a private corridor, is a large one bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower and walk in wardrobe. Adjacent to the bedroom there is also a separate service bathroom. Private access to a furnished terrace, the garden and the courtyard. Ground floor: The main entrance opens into the large fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen boasts a large marble table that serves as a prepping area for all meals, ideal working station for pasta and pizza making classes, or simply a gathering space. Two steps lead up to the pantry room with two large refrigerators, a freezer, plenty of cupboards and shelves for storing food and wine. Here you will also find a controlled temperature selection of local wines that can be purchased by the guests during the stay. The front door of the kitchen leads out to the main deck of the house with a shaded outdoor dining area seating 12 people and a comfortable lounge area with outdoor sofas and chairs. Turning right from the kitchen, one accesses an elegant indoor dining room with a table for 12 people. Mezzanine Floor: A couple of steps up from the indoor dining room lead to the mezzanine floor with the living area. The first living room has plenty of sofas and armchairs to relax in front of the fireplace, while the second living room or 'recreation room' houses a library and a full size pool table. The living room opens up to an outdoor patio facing South where you can find a small outdoor relaxation area with a bench and a couple of armchairs to enjoy the views. First Floor: A flight of stairs up, you will find another living room with a sofa, a library and TV. There is also a small office space with a workstation overlooking the Tuscan countryside and rolling hills. Right next to the living room is the first air conditioned twin bedroom with two large beds (non convertible into double), a private office just a few steps down and an en suite bathroom with shower. One air conditioned double bedroom with a queen size bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower. At the end of the corridor, on the right side, there is a second air conditioned double bedroom with a queen size bed and an en suite bathroom with shower. The right side door at the end of the corridor opens up into the family suite, composed by a large shared entrance with wardrobes, and two air conditioned double bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other one with a queen size bed that share an en suite bathroom with a shower. The family suite has another separate entrance through an outdoor staircase from the front courtyard and can be used as a stand alone apartment. Grounds: The house has a very large garden with a multitude of trees from Mugello including oaks, cypresses, maples, and walnuts. The front of the house has a large deck where you find an area for outdoor dining seating as well as a lounging area both in the shade. The deck overlooks the Schifanoia valley and the Anguidola river, offering a breathtaking view throughout the day. The kitchen has direct access to the deck making it also very enjoyable during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. To the left of the deck, you access the swimming pool, which has sunbeds and chairs for up to twelve people as well as a dedicated shower with hot and cold water. Assistance: Clients will be met by our Property Manager who will guide them through the check in and check out process and explain the details of the house and some history of the estate. Activities: A range of in house experiences can be organised via the House Manager: Pasta Making Class, Ancient Grain Bread Making Class, Private Wine Tasting Tour of our Chianti Vineyard, Schifanoia Estate Tour, E Bike Mugello Tour, Wildlife Watching/Photography Session, Truffle Hunting Experience. In addition, the House Manager will be able to book for you in advance many other activities in the area, such as Golfing, Supercar Driving in the circuit of Mugello, Paragliding, Fishing, Rafting and Bird watching at the nearby artificial Lake of Bilancino. Iron and ironing board. Pool details: The gated private swimming pool measures 13.5 x 6.5 mt with a constant depth of 1.50 mt and has a pool ladder to enter/exit. A few steps across a paved path leads to the decked swimming pool complete with modern parasols and sun loungers Pet friendly villa: Pets are allowed only at the owner's discretion. A 250 non refundable cleaning fee will be charged upon arrival. Additional charges for damage may be assessed. Pets are not permitted on any furniture, nor in the pool. Guests are responsible for pet waste clean inside the villa and throughout the property grounds. Staffing and services: Daily continental buffet breakfast (the table is laid from 8:00 a.m. and cleared at 10:30 a.m.) excluding Saturday. The cost of food drinks is not included. Lunch and Dinner service available on demand at a cost. Cooking Classes available on demand at a cost. Groceries Shopping/Delivery Service available on demand at a cost. Maid service included: Cleaning of the communal areas (kitchens, living areas and dining areas inside and outside, guest bathrooms) and bedrooms/bathrooms for 6 days a week.
