Our Water and Sound View Getaway Suite is a beautiful suite at Water View Cottage, WA.
The main Water View house was built in the early 1900's and is nestled in a beach community on the Puget Sound. Rumor has it that Water View Cottage was used as a bootleggers cabin in the early 1900s!
You will experience true pacific north west charm and hospitality.
The suite space has its own private outdoor entry access and is ideal for short stays, romantic getaways, work and travel and those looking to explore the beautiful PNW!
The suite has it's own private King sized bedroom and living area. Both with interlocking doors and large French doors opening up onto unobstructed views of the Puget Sound. The suite bedroom leads out into the driftwood cabana and ‘infinity view’ garden. The outdoor cabana area is inviting all year around with comfortable seating, a propane firepit and Salu Spa hot tub. Guests have private use if this driftwood cabana, firepit and hot tub during their stay.
The suite has a granite black and white glass bathroom, a double sofa in the lounge area and a beautiful hand designed live edge coffee bar table.
The large wood closets from Thailand are stocked with kitchenette amenities to make your PNW stay that much more relaxing and enjoyable. These amenities include a fridge, microwave (with grill function), and Keurig 2 refreshment machine, toaster, selection of cooking utensils, cutlery and dishes.
Our guests can choose between Starbucks Keurig coffee pods, a selection of teas or delicious ground coffee for the suite espresso machine.
Enjoy spectacular views of the Puget Sound, Olympic Mountain range, the local islands and sunsets.
Local activities at our marina and town centre ( 5 minutes drive away from Water View) include walking trails, beaches, local food scene and delightful PNW sightseeing and state parks.
Only 17 minutes from SeaTac Intl Airport, Water and Sound View Getaway Suite is centrally located from business districts and attractions: approximately 26 mins from Seattle and 22 mins from Tacoma.
The Suite will comfortably sleep two adults on the king sized bed.
3 Private entrances on the opposite side of main house entrance, off street parking for one car on our private driveway.
Guests have full access to the garden directly in front of the suite (other areas of the garden to the right of the dividing hedge are private).
The Suite is connected/adjacent to the main house and permanently closed/ locked off. The master bedroom is very quiet and private. Some sounds from the main house may be heard by guests if in the Suite living room area as the Suites living room area is adjacent to the main house. Water View Cottage is the homeowners primary home and you may hear the homeowners family in the main house and see the homeowners family in the gardens on the Water View property.
High speed internet and a variety of streaming are available for guest use including complimentary Disney plus, Netflix, and Prime Video.
Having lived all over the world and also stayed in many vacation rentals around the world, homeowners Richard and Ruth understand the desire for privacy as well as warm hospitality.
Interaction with Guests is face to face or via text messages, online platform messages and calls if needed.

You will need a car or taxi/ Uber to commute as Water View is located off the main bus route and is nestled in the heart of a water view community on the Puget Sound. There is off road parking for one car on the driveway. More parking on request.
Outdoor dining facilities include a covered driftwood cabana gazebo, outdoor seating area, barbecue grill and fire pit.
We do not allow or accept bookings for parties or events.
Intimate proposals or elopements may be considered and would require written approval by homeowners and extra insurance cover.
Water View is strictly no smoking anywhere in or on the premises. This includes no recreational drugs or vaping.
No animals allowed due to homeowners allergies and shared spaces on the property. The Suite is deep cleaned with natural cleaning products including pure essential oils ( these can be highly toxic to animals especially dogs and cats).
Maximum of two guests only to stay. An extra two day visitors may be considered with homeowners written approval.
A child ( depending on age) may be allowed to stay with prior written consent from homeowners. The suite does not have amenities for children and the glass ornaments, white sofa, gardens with no fencing may not be best suited for guests wanting to stay with young children.
Beautiful grass garden with unobstructed water views over the Puget Sound. The waterfront club is private and the waterfront club is for member access only.
