Nice staff, location central to Myeongdong nightmarket, shopping and metro. Easy to get to airport via the train with a transfer at nearby Seoul station. A little noisy at night due to the nightmarket outside, but not too bad if you’re not a light sleeper.

Room is of good size . The water dispenser is a bonus. The self service pantry with amenities works well for our family as we can returned soiled towels and get clean ones as and when we need.

Perfect place to stay! Convenient, right smack dab in the Myeongdong Street Market and nearby Myeongdong Station exits 5,6&7. There’s an elevator and each guest floor has a microwave, sink, tea, coffee, dinnerware, iron/board, trash bins and all the fresh towels to refill your own room. In the room there’s a hairdryer, tv, phone, air conditioner, beverage cooler, bidet, hangers & hooks. 3rd floor Landry room- the detergent is added with your credit card payment. There’s a 6th floor rooftop which was inaccessible during our stay(November 22-30). You must clarify if you want your sheets changed & room cleaned on the 3rd day of your stay. It’s only free if you stay more than 5 days. The staff does empty your trash & take out your old towels daily. The Korean staff at the entrance kiosk check in & checkout and on the hotel phone were all very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The Japanese cleaning staff were indifferent & useless if you need help. They literally just stare at you, annoyed that you tried to speak to them. In the end, no frills hotel but it covers all the basics a traveler from abroad needs during their visit. The price was very competitive. I got lucky I chose this place. I would recommend Hotel Myeongdongjang to everyone who wants to stay in Seoul.

Clean, safe and super relaxing. Loved the common area kitchen! They have a an espresso machine that grinds the beans and pulls beautiful shots of espresso which made early mornings easier. The room had an automatic water dispenser for hot/cold/room temp water. Although in the middle of a busy area noise from the street couldn't be heard in the room. Would stay again.

Check in was super easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and had good WiFi connection. The amenities were good and the communal space was a nice touch. It's a great location as it's right next to the night market and among lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely staff, spoke english, I got a free upgrade to a slightly bigger room which was cool. The room was clean and comfy, the bidet started acting up, but a quick call to the staff and it was unplugged (they said they'd check it out after I left) The area was super central, close to multiple subway lines. would defs stay here again.

The room is clean and spacious. The washroom is also clean and spacious. I love that the laundry is on the same floor as our room (4th floor. I’m not sure if they have it on every floor). They have the microwave, plates, towels, big garbage cans on the same area too which was convenient. The hotel is located in the heart of Myeongdong so it’s very close to a lot of dining and shopping options. The street where it is seemed a little bit sketchy at night because its dark but overall the stay was good and I would definitely stay there again.

My 2nd stay in Seoul and compared to another hotel close by this one was much better so recommended; - Fantastic location - Smooth check in process - Vs. Similar hotel nearby this was much cheaper but more comfortable and better water pressure so was very pleased

This property is in the heart of Myeongdong walking streets. It’s a short 5 minute walk out to main traffic street. Subway, shopping, dining, all an easy access. I’m not a fan of “wet rooms” so having a separate shower/tub was perfect. Would book again.
