★ The saltwater pool is the highlight of the cabin! The 16' x 8' Indoor Pool is heated to 84 degrees year-round.
★ The pool depth is 3-4feet deep. Use at your own risk and supervise children as there is no lifeguard.
★ Our pool undergoes weekly cleaning on Thursday (Tuesday as a back up) If you're staying with us on these days, we kindly request your cooperation. You don't need to be in the cabin during maintenance; the cleaning crew will use their own door keys.

#️⃣ Additional Things to Note:

☑️ An offline short-term rental agreement must be signed following the booking confirmation. A security deposit of $1,000 will be held offline two (2) days prior to check-in. The HOLD will be released within fourteen (14) days after check-out, provided no damage to the property is identified.

☑️ Please note, the cabin is in a private resort, a mile up the mountain. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended particularly during winter months

☑️ The cabin has smart TVs/ Roku sticks that allow you to access your favorite streaming services. You will need to log in using your credentials.

☑️ For safety and to ensure the best service from our cleaning and maintenance team, cameras are located at the front and around the cabin. There are no cameras inside the cabin.

☑️ As you're in the mountains, you may encounter critters, bugs, spiders, and even bears (which are dangerous!). Please avoid approaching or feeding any wildlife. Do not leave food or drinks in your car, as wildlife may try to get in. Always keep vehicles locked.

☑️ Absolutely NO smoking!!!! in the cabin. There will be extra charges if found smoking

☑️We welcome pets ( Dogs only) in our cabin. Up to 2 dogs are allowed(less than 50lb each). The pet fee is $75 per night per pet up to maximum $299 per stay. *After a booking is confirmed, and we confirm the number and breed of dog(s), we will send you a separate request for the pet fee.
- Dogs are not allowed in the swimming pool.
- Guests agree to keep their dog under control at all times. Guests agree to promptly report any damage caused by dog(s).
- Dog(s) must be crated if left alone in the home.
- All dogs must be up to date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. You may ask to provide the vaccination records.
- Guests agree to clean up after their dog(s) & dispose of their waste promptly.

☑️ Our cleaning service provides initial start-up supplies, including toilet paper ( 2 per bathroom), paper towels (1 roll), dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and shampoo & bar soap (travel size 1 per bathroom) Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase some of the items (from the local stores or Instacart to the cabin) when the initial supply runs out.

☑️ We offer Wi-Fi in our cabin through Comcast, which is the main provider in our area. While we don’t have many other options, please note that service can occasionally be interrupted during maintenance or severe weather like thunderstorms, rain, or snow. Also internet at 3rd floor of our cabin is spotty. Please plan accordingly.

☑️ There are no refunds for storms, snow, or power outages. We recommend purchasing travel insurance and coming prepared with bottled water and non-perishable items

The property was clean and spacious. Also close to many restaurants and activities. That is where the good stops.Below are the issues we had with the stay. 1. The pool/hot tub only provided 4 towels for family of 18. Also, 2. Pool table had no chalk, a broken rack, broken bumper and hadn't been cleaned in years.3. The WiFi router was placed behind the TV in the back corner of the unit. There were supposed to be WiFi repeaters on each floor, but none. Multiple rooms on the 3rd floor had no signal so TVs were useless.4. There were two refrigerators, which was nice, but there was no water hooked to the one with a water dispenser and the other one that had water connected did not have a dispenser and did not make ice. We had to continually run out for more ice as we had our entire family staying at the house. They sent the handyman. He reset the icemaker. It made 1 tray and then stopped again. Overall, very inconvenient to buy ice and bottled water for our stay from Wednesday to Sunday for Thanksgiving. For the amount we paid for those days, I would expect everything advertised on VRBO for this unit should be in working condition.The owner tried to appease me by sending more TP, trash bags and water pitcher (Brita) which by the time it got there, wasn’t needed. He never offered any type of partial refund for all the inconvenience! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this unit!

WiFi was good a few issues in the being but could just be due to being in the mountains.Pool room heater was on and could not be turned off, windows thankfully opened. But there were pool toys provided as well as a few pool towels.Lots of kitchen tools ( crockpot, skillet, waffle maker), large variety of pots, pans, utensils, and cutlery. 3 trash bins outside but with large families, may fill up very fast. 2 or 3 provided trash bags.

Very poor cleanliness

There were so many issues with this location. Filthy air filters-we could see the thick dust from outside the vent and when we opened them, they were horrible. Appears the last time they were changed was April 2024 based on the date on the filter. There is mold in the basin of all 6 showers and the shower curtain liners were full of soap scum and mold. I will say the owner did send new shower curtains but those should have all been cleaned or replaced prior to our stay. We should not have to point out items like this. The grill looks to have maybe never been cleaned. There were several broken items including toilets, beds, chairs, window shades. Washing machine, dishwasher and ice maker not working. We did get one person come to fix some items and he did replace the washing machine but we had to help take the new one up to the 2nd floor and bring the broken one down. NOT a fully stocked kitchen for up to 20 guests. Yes, plenty of plates, cups, bowls, glasses, and silverware. But, no mixing bowls or storage containers or oven ware. They did attempt to rectify some of these issues but did not actually contact me to find out what was truly needed. ALL of this should have been taken care of before our arrival. I spent the first 2 days of my first vacation in 6 years dealing with all of this. I have requested a refund from the owner but that has been declined. BEWARE-they will probably charge you for the broken items and the cleanliness is probably still poor. Iimits to add 8 pics

Lots of Room

Great size for our multi sibling family trip. We had a problem with one of the fridges but the owners took care of it and were super responsive. My husband and I plus my sister in law loved the matteresses and slept awesome, so much so we are trying to find the same ones to replace our current mattress

Large Family Gem

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this cabin in Pigeon Forge! Our group of 14 fit comfortably, and we had a blast exploring the area and hiking in the Smoky Mountains. Each night, we enjoyed watching movies in the theater and popping delicious popcorn. The kids loved swimming daily in the heated indoor pool, and several adults relaxed in the jacuzzi. The cabin's location was perfect, just minutes away from Pigeon Forge attractions. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were cozy, and the electric fireplace was a nice touch. The owners were incredibly accommodating and responsive to any requests. The cabin was spotless and professionally cleaned, and we loved the no "to-do" list checkout policy. Highly recommend this cabin for a memorable getaway!Of note, Athithistay has a separate billing system from VRBO so don't be alarmed if they need you to provide billing information after you have checked out with VRBO if your credit card info doesn't transfer over. You will also be asked to sign a renter agreement directly with them so check your spam messages.
