Great location but lacking amenities

Perfect location in a narrow street in the Santa Cruz barrio . Five mins walk to the Giralda and cathedral . 15 mins to plaza de Espana and a short taxi ride everywhere else . Lovely foyer with authentic decor . What let the hotel down was the room decor was dated and cheap looking . No coffee facilities in room . No bar or restaurant on site either so unable to enjoy a drink on the terrace after a day sightseeing. This would be a deal breaker for some travelers. Breakfast was a little disappointing too . No cornflakes just muesli or coco pops . Okay selection of ham , cheese , bread and pastries . Bacon and scrabbled egg available but didn’t look very appetizing. I have a home In Spain so I’m used to local food and the hotel fell short of the usually Spanish standard.

Very noisy!

The hotel was VERY noisy all day. From early morning, you could hear a lot of noise from the staff and other guests. Sleeping in was not an option!

Very clean and conveniently located. Rooms could use some updating. Hotel had A/C off for season even though temperatures were 28 outside. We had to open all windows and balcony doors overnight in attempt to cool room.

Central Location to everything

The Hotel is located near everything. walking distance to mayor attractions. You don’t need a car. Staff are very friendly. This is a comfortable hotel.

Location great and only complaint is paying extra for superior room with terrace and city view. I looked out on a brick wall and my friend looked out on tarpauline which blew in the high winds. You could just about see top of cathedral spire but NOT a city view. It wasn’t the weather for sitting out so didn’t say anything.
