Great stay. Only problem is that room #1019 has very strong smoke smell. They changed it to room 1116 which is good even though down grade. There was no offer for credit of different charges.

What we liked: It was our 2nd time staying at this hotel when visiting Shanghai. The 1st time, we were given a room with an amazing view of Nanjing Road but this time, we had a view on the other side of the building (where the Family Mart is) and it was not a problem but it was less interesting. The room is very spacious, clean and quiet. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are on the firmer side. The bathroom is very spacious and it has both a standing shower and a bathtub shower. In terms of location, the hotel is right by Nanjing Road and walking distance to the Bund. It’s also close to 3 metro stations (Nanjing Road East, Nanjing Road West and People’s Square). Very conveniently located to go buy breakfast in the morning on Nanjing Road. We enjoyed our stay. What we think can be improved: We hope the hotel will become more environmentally friendly by moving away from tiny bottles of shampoo/conditioner and switching to larger refillable bottles.

Our stay was comfortable. Check in was very smooth and we were asked if we wanted an upgrade to Executive Room,breakfast inclusive for a very good price. We loved the services provided by the hotel. There was also a 200RMB coupon for massages given. There was a complimentary plate of fruits provided for us. The location was very central so the attraction(s) was with in walking distance. We hope to stay here again when we plan our next Shanghai trip.
