Unfortunately, a few things fell short of what we expected. The lobby and elevator seemed to be under construction and weren’t air conditioned, which was uncomfortable. It was also a bit confusing figuring out exactly where to use the key fob, and it took some trial and error to figure out the light switches. We also had to contact the host about the washing machine (which is also a dryer) since it wasn’t even plugged in.Cleanliness was our biggest concern — it felt like the unit had a rushed turnover before we arrived. We found an empty water bottle under the bed, noticeable dust throughout, and dirty linens tucked away in one of the closets. On top of that, all the closets were packed full with extra blankets, towels, and pillows, leaving us with almost no room to unpack or store our own things.A few smaller items would have made a difference too: a guide for the TV and channels would have been helpful since it wasn’t clear how to use it, and we ran out of toilet paper and trash bags with no extras provided.Overall, the bones of this apartment are great, but it needs better cleaning and stocking between guests to really shine.
