Shaver Lake is the perfect place to vacation. The climate is ideal with cool summers and mild winters. The list of activities is long and includes, hiking, fishing, skiing, sledding, boating, snowmobiling, horseback riding, and more!

We do not live on site, but are available by phone, text or email through your stay!

**Winter Bookings** - Please note, 4x4/AWD and snow chains are STRONGLY recommended due to steep mountain roads and inclined diveway.
**2 exterior security cameras monitor this property. One monitors the front door and driveway, and the other one monitors our 2 back doors. **

Leisure Landing is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the popular subdivision of Sierra Cedars. No need to leave the property for snow play or long walks in the woods! Conveniently located 3 miles to the heart of downtown Shaver Lake and just 30 min to China Peak Ski Resort.

The cabin is outfitted to suit the needs of a modern vacationer. 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen provides a user-friendly space to cook a meal. Entertainment options like flat-screen TVs mean you can cozy up with a good movie next to the fireplace! A washer and dryer in the cabin are perfect for soggy ski clothes. The large deck is the perfect place to bbq with family and friends!

☕ Coffee Setup
We’ve got your morning coffee covered — at least for the first few days! The cabin is equipped with a drip coffee maker. We’ll provide a starter supply to get you going, but we recommend bringing along extra coffee, your favorite creamer, and any preferred sweeteners to last your entire stay.

🛏️ Linens & Towels
We provide all bed linens and bath towels for your stay, so no need to pack those! 🧼✨
However, we do recommend bringing along a few lake or beach towels 🏖️ if you plan to spend time at the lake or enjoy water activities.
Toiletries - We DO provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap for each bathroom.

We do not have baby items at this location. Please be sure to pack all the items you'll need to ensure the stay is comfortable for the littles ones.

🍽 Kitchen -

A Quick Kitchen Tip:
We do our best to keep basics like ziplock bags, tin foil, and plastic wrap stocked for your convenience. However, since these items sometimes get taken on outdoor adventures and don’t always make it back, supplies can run low. We recommend bringing some extras along just in case — it’s always handy to have on hand during your stay!

Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up your favorite meals. In addition to the basics, we also provide:

Toaster Oven
Crockpot
Mixer

🍔 BBQ Time!

We have a gas BBQ available for your use, and propane is provided. Please be sure to clean the grill after use and turn off the propane when you're done. This helps keep everything safe and ready for the next guest.

🐶We are pet friendly and we are happy to welcome your well house- and furniture-trained pups! We do ask that you clean up after them inside and out. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per stay and that covers up to two dogs. You should have added this at the time of booking. If not, please let us know and we will send over the request for you to take care of. If you have more than two dogs, please let us know as there is an additional fee of 75.00 per dog for the stay. Please be sure to keep them off the beds and furniture and pick up after your pets inside and out.

🌊 Heading to the Lake?
Feel free to use the chairs in the garage. We just ask that you return them clean and to where you found them.

Staying Cool Without AC

While we don’t have central AC, mountain cabins are usually comfortable thanks to the cooler air—especially in the evenings. If it’s unusually warm during the day, we suggest closing windows and blinds before heading out to keep the cabin cool. In the late afternoon or early evening, open things up to let in the fresh mountain air and use the portable fans provided to keep things comfortable.

As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide you with the below protection. The cost of this protection has been included in your rental rate and fees and covers you for accidental damages during your stay. The Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $3,000 of coverage for accidental contents damage and up to $500,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury. Complete terms regarding the Trust and Safety coverage will be included in your welcome message. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date.

The cabin is for families and friend getaways only, no parties. We are the owners, not a rental agency. We have neighbors who live next to our cabin year round and we want to respect that.
