did not get to stay, many customs issues ,did not know had check point in hong kong also that was my stop first then I miss my flight and hotel did not honor my file for next day say don't have record and the office don't speak good English. so from hk to Shenzhen need customs again I thought all was same . I'm still stuck in hong kong with out a guide as of feb, 14th to get to Shenzhen china , but thanks

Expected a bit more

I chose this hotel because of it's location, and the fact that it had a breakfast. The location is good, the green line metro is close by, and the pedestrian district is a short walk away. The room was ample size to sleep in, not more, not less. We had to change rooms after 3 days, since the ceiling starter leaking water in the bathroom. They got us a new room in no time. Tried to get a room upgrade, but we didn't get it ;-) The room was clean, and didn't smell of smoke at all. The view is onto the street, which is bit loud, as you have cars honking all day-night. But you have that everywhere in China, so that's not the hotels fault :-) The breakfast is not a Western breakfast, it's Chinese. Don't expect any breakfast items you would find in the West. This was a big hotel, so I thought they would have a gym, but no. Nobody at the hotel spoke English, which was weird considering that hotels are tourist destinations after all...

Worn but comfortable

Great neighborhood. Hotel is worn, but comfortable by China standards. Staff is friendly and helpful. Always someone on duty that speaks English. Breakfast is not worth the effort or time . . .there are a lot of better places near by. WiFi is free but signal is weak so if you are counting on WiFi to work you may not want to stay here. The price was at the top end of too much for what you get.

The whole experience was really bad, the only thing good is the location near the Pedestrian Street, other than that it was a nightmare. The service is really bad, very rude, almost like if they didnt want you there. Matter of fact, it should say ONLY CHINESE ARE WELCOME. The bathroom was not working properly, told them and nothing was done. The breakfast, was empty only a potato, and one boiled egg. One dead cockroach near the buffet area. Told them, they say to bad, nothing can be done, Almost sarcastic, call the manager and he pretended not to understand english. Very obvious that the service and standards are way bellow to the ones you can expect in some places in deep Africa, not in Shenzhen. Anyways, never again, not even for FREE, it can spoiled the mood of the getway with the family.

Not for honeymooners -

Usual chinese grotty carpets, Large room, helpful friendly cleaner. Bathroom has the huge interior window so awkward if need the bathroom in night and forget to close blinds first. Use Guamo MTR then up thru swanky Kingsglory mall exit at Rimowa shop and its oppo fire station. Breakfast for the fearless but u can get some hard boiled eggs. Its OK.

A okay hotel in a good location

Location is great, 5 min walk to tourism hotspot. Hotel design looks classic, room space is decent. The cleariness of the toilet is alittle off and air vent does smells abit but i get used to it after awhile.

Good location

Third stay at hotel. Location within walking distance to eateries, shopping, movies day and night markets, supermarket and metro. Room was comfortable and serviced well. Chinese style breakfast just OK and could be lot better if food kept warm. Coffee and tea also cold. Generally good hotel.
