Our private vacation camp offers access to a remote stretch of the Zambezi that is the home to a rich variety of African wildlife including numerous southern African bird species. Our property lies in part of the Sisheke Conservation Project and is within 4 hrs drive of Kasane airport (near to Chobe Game Reserve). The southern entrance to the Sioma Ngewzi game park is 10 minutes drive away and a half hour north lies Ngonywe Falls. A day’s drive further north lies the famous Liuwa Plains National Park, site of the spectacular annual wildebeest migration. Kavumbu Camp is also within an easy day’s drive of Moremi and Chobe National Park just across the northern Botswana border, and to the south-east, Livingstone and the world-famous Victoria Falls is 270 km away.

Treat the property as your own African home - but be aware - - The river is unfenced and hippos and crocodiles may be in the water so guests are advised to take good care of children and refrain from swimming in the river. - Tap water at the property is not potable and needs boiling before drinking. - The property has H/C water showers and flush toilets but uses a french drain septic system so we ask that no foreign matter is flushed into the system. - The camp is set in natural riverside forest and plants and wildlife should not be interfered with.
