Disappointing stay despite good breakfast
We recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, our experience was far from ideal.
First, the car park ceiling beam was low and ended up damaging the boot of our car. When we reported this, the staff advised us to contact the police and then make a complaint to the manager, which felt quite unhelpful. Additionally, the car park and pool incur extra charges, but this was only mentioned in an email that arrived a day after our stay—something that should have been made clear upfront.
Inside the room, the sofa bed was broken and the mattress stained, which was concerning as it was intended for our toddler. When we asked for clean sheets, we were made to feel as if we had done something wrong and were told we shouldn't be using it. We did eventually receive the sheets, but the overall interaction left us uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, the ceiling had spider webs that clearly hadn’t been cleaned, which really added to the impression of poor maintenance.
On a positive note, breakfast was excellent, which was the highlight of the stay.
Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the issues with cleanliness, transparency, maintenance, and customer service. We hope management addresses these problems so future guests have a better experience.
