Nice hotel, lobby is very nicely decorated and the front desk staff were great - they gave us some brilliant restaurant recommendations. Hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Sorrento old town and getting to the ferry port for day trips. Enjoyed the pool. The room was nice with good air con but shower pressure not the best and shower door wouldn’t close properly. General manager not the easiest to communicate with, they misunderstood us a couple of times which was a bit awkward. Have to speak to the chef to order some items for breakfast but orders aren’t written down and mine was forgotten.

Our 3 night stay in Hotel Capri was wonderful. Right from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed & valued. The service was excellent. The location was perfect & right in the centre of Sorrento. The breakfast was also excellent with a wide choice of both hot & cold food. The pool was just right. Not too noisy & the perfect place to relax in the centre of Sorrento. A really lovely newly refurbished hotel that was clean and fresh. It had a relaxed atmosphere and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet offers a great selection that really sets you up for the day. It is also perfectly located with just a short walk to everything you meed, shops, restaurants buses and trains. The added bonus for us to was that it was adults only. It really was the perfect base for us. Highly recommend.

Visited Sorrento June/July 2025 with my husband and 18 yr old son. This hotel is brilliant, the staff (in particular Teresa) are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much to ask. The rooms are a generous size, very modern and clean with everything you could need including air conditioning. Toiletries are included in the bathroom and a brilliant hairdryer (I find sometimes hotel hairdryers are poor, not this one). The small outdoor pool is a great addition, again very clean with comfortable loungers and seats and a small bar area with lovely staff. The location of this hotel is the best feature. Just along the road is Sorrento train station and it is only a 5 minute walk to Corso Italia which has lots of shops, bars and restaurants. The marina area is also within walking distance. So with a lovely hotel, lovely staff and everything at your doorstep this is the perfect hotel if you are staying in Sorrento and wanting easy access to travel around this area of Italy. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel in Sorrento, with a few bumps along the way that were handled with true hospitality. The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from both the train station and bus stop, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The building itself is quite old, but it looks like it has been recently remodeled, giving it a charming mix of character and comfort. We had booked the hotel five months in advance as part of our 8-city trip across Italy and honestly forgot that breakfast was included at this particular stop. Unfortunately, the young staff at the front desk didn’t mention it at check-in, and we only found out by accident a couple of days later. Naturally, we were quite upset, feeling like we had missed out. However, Teresa, the hotel manager, immediately stepped in and turned the situation around. She was gracious, understanding, and incredibly accommodating—she even went so far as to invite us to the hotel owner’s private birthday party to make it up to us. That kind of service is rare and truly appreciated. Thanks to Teresa and her outstanding customer care, we ended our stay on a high note. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento.
