Le Petit Manoir on osa Chateau de Montbosqia. Se asui alun perin Jean D'Arclais'n ja Pierrette de Montbosqin perheen vuonna 1360
Keskeinen WW. II Historialliset alueet. Suuri mökki, 5 makuuhuonetta, 3 kylpyhuonetta, pyörätuolia varten (nukkuu 12-15)

Le Petit Manoir on 1400-luvun kivimaalainen maalaistalo; 3 km päässä St. kaupungista Martin des Besaces, Normandia, Ranska.

Mökki on lopussa melko yksityinen ajotieltä rauhallisella maaseudulla, josta on kauniit näkymät laaksoon. Ihanteellinen rentouttavalle lomalle.

Pohjakerroksen saapuu sisäovelta pihalle, se on riittävän leveä pyörätuolin majoittamiseen. Edessä on portaikko, oikealla on ovi, joka johtaa avoimen olohuoneen ruokasaliin, jolla on iso puuhella, joka on suuri, kun se syttyy, takan vieressä on oviaukko, joka johtaa takapiha-alueelle tavalliseen tapaan huonekalut, grilli ja korkeiden puiden varjostamat.

Keittiöasennus on erittäin kompakti kaasu- / sähköhella, liesituulettimella, suurella jääkaappilla / pakastimella, astianpesukoneella, erillisellä mikroaaltouunilla ja kaikella tarvitsemallasi, tiskipöydällä !!

Vasemmalla on alakerran makuuhuoneeseen johtava käytävä, ennen kuin makuuhuoneeseen pääsee, vasemmalla on ovi suurelle suihkulle / märälle huoneelle, joka on tarkoitettu vammaisille. Käytävä ja oviaukot täyttävät liikuntarajoitteisille asetetut vaatimukset.

Olo- ja makuutilat erottaa portaikko, joka johtaa 4 makuuhuonetta ensimmäisessä kerroksessa. Makuuhuoneessa on neljä pylvässänkyä ja oma suihkuhuone, jossa on pesuallas ja wc, 2 toisessa makuuhuoneessa on aikuisten kerrossänky ja 1 on myös yhden hengen sänky. Suuremmassa makuuhuoneessa käytävän toisessa päässä on parivuode ja yhden hengen. Kaikilla on helppo pääsy perheen kylpyhuoneeseen, jossa on kylpyamme ja suihku, pesuallas ja wc. Tarjolla on 2 vauvansänkyä ja 2 ylimääräistä taitettavaa sänkyä.

Avoin ruokasali / aula on tilava ja mukava, iso ruokapöytä mahtuu 12 henkilöä, kaksi isoa d-paikkaista sohvaa täydentävät istumapaikat, siellä on TV & DVD-soitin (tuo omat suosikki-CD- ja DVD-levysi), on kirjoja ja pelejä omaan käyttöösi. Lämmitys tapahtuu suurella puulämmitteellä, joka näyttää kauniilta, kun se on valaistu, erittäin viihtyisä kylmempinä päivinä.
Tämä loma-asunto sijaitsee lähellä kohdetta Souleuvren viadukti. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa esimerkiksi ulkouima-altaan, vesipuiston ja porealtaan. Loma-asunnossa tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden ja keittiön.

Fantastic old property, exactly what we needed for 12 people!

Had extended family (12 of us) all staying in one place including a toddler, young kids, tweens and 6 adults! The place was perfect for what we needed. The pool was a big win, excellent amenities in terms of crockery, glasses, cutlery kitchen equipment etc. Garden was lovely and we had almost no complaints. The only comment we have is that the property is very tired and must be very difficult for Marianne to keep clean by herself. This is not a major complaint from us as there were several children and lots of us so would have felt very uncomfortable trying to keep an immaculate house clean!!! This is not an immaculate house. Some of the sockets are loose and there are fixtures/fittings in need of repair. One of the chairs collapsed when we sat on it(!) But again this is not a complaint, it is probably a plus for such a large family in one place. We left it cleaner than we found it :) Marianne was lovely and showed us the old photos of the place and the work that was done (and is still to do!). I loved looking at the derelict parts and considering whether I could find £250,000 to buy it!! All in all an excellent stay and I would book again. But just a word of warning for others - it is rustic, French countryside shabby chic...sans le chic. Extra thanks to Marianne who was next door on hand whenever we needed but not too much that we felt uncomfortable. Merci Beaucoup! A bientot!

We had a wonderfull time. We were with 11 persons and I think that 12 is the maximum capacity. The house is ok , it's a pity the pool can't be warmed up. Very friendly and helpful landlady.

Il est rare d'arriver sur le lieu d'une location et d'avoir envie de faire demi tour. La description et les photos du gite sont trompeuses et ne correspondent pas à la réalité. En arrivant, vous etes accueillis par des gravats, une bétonnière et les abords ne sont pas entretenus. A l'intérieur, tout est bricolé (câbles apparents, carrelages qui se décollent,...). On peut effectivement loger à 14, mais obligatoirement à 3 par chambre. Dans ce cas, la salle a manger est trop petite. L'annonce met en avant la présence d'une piscine qui clairement n'est pas exploitable (l'eau est sale et verte). Le château de Montbosq n'a de château que le nom. L'accueil de la propriétaire est néanmoins chaleureux.

Séjour agréable

Résidence et environnements très calmes. Nous nous sommes vraiment bien reposés. Si l'on accepte de passer du temps en voiture, il y a de nombreuses activités autour. La propriétaire est charmante et très accueillante.

Endroit sublime, isolée et surplombant une petite vallée. Malheureusement la propriétaire a eu un petit souci avec la piscine dont nous n'avons pas pu profiter. Nulle doute que le problème sera très vite réglé.

Só temos de agradecer e desejar tudo de bom para essa grande mulher que nos fez sentir em casa e que nos acolheu tão bem. Sinceramente foi mesmo encantador, a casa, os quartos, as camas tão macias, o espaço, o ambiente e a paisagem tão maravilhosa. Mais uma vez um grande obrigado Madame Marian por este momento inesquecível. E pretendemos voltar mais uma vez. Obrigada Tout d'abord nous tenons à remercier Madame pour cet excellent week-end que nous avons passé. Nous devons juste remercier et souhaiter tout le meilleur à cette femme formidable qui nous a fait sentir chez nous et qui nous a si bien accueillis. excellent week end dans une belle propriété

Nous avons passé un excellent week end dans une belle propriété pleine de charme. Marian est une belle personne, qui se rend disponible pour ses invités. Le coin est calme. Pas de voisins aux alentours. Un calme olympien!!! Nous gardons un énorme souvenir .

Cadre agréable et propriétaire aux petits soins

La maison à un rez de chaussée très adapté à une dizaine de personnes. La cuisine est très bien équipée, la salle commune est grande et permet des repas à 12. Le jardin est très joli et y prendre un apéro ou y faire un barbecue est très agréable. La chambre et la salle de bain du rdc sont très bien. Les chambres et salles de bain à l'étage ont sans doute encore besoin de rénovation surtout la salle d'eau. De manière générale., le rapport qualité /prix est bon et les évolutions prévues par la propriétaire ne peuvent que le rendre encore meilleur. Dernier point, la piscine hors sol est très grande et pratique pour les enfants. Un peu loin des sites des plages du débarquement. Commerces très sympas dans le village : 2 bouchers charcutiers, une boulangerie et un grand huit à huit (5 minutes en voiture).

Unique property/Great host

This property is fascinating and unique - you're staying in history. It is rustic, but everything works, with comfortable beds and hot showers and an ample kitchen. It's also handicapped accessible on the first floor, which is rare in a home this old. The owner is a lovely host who has been restoring the home carefully and lives on site. She not only provided us with some supplies we had failed to bring the first night, but made us strawberries and cream! And she shared the history of the place with us. Plus, it's perfectly located for a day at Mont St. Michelle and a different day at the beaches of Normandy. We're so glad we stayed here! It made a trip that necessarily included a lot of very touristy stuff really special.

Serious TLC needed

The location is spacious and located in a beautiful area with many options for unique day trips. Marian had a welcome basket ready for us with wine, cheese and a delicious cake in de refrigerator. The bedding was clean, only 1 set of towels for 1 week, showers and toilets were clean. We advise that the house and garden gets serious attention: cleaning up, cleaning and maintenance! Wooden floors from the upper floor make everything very noisy, greasy fingers and stains in the kitchen with crooked doors, oven was not clean, the fridge did not close properly, the sofa sagged, dust and cobwebs everywhere, dust and dirt under benches and in corners, lots of damp spots, leakage from the bathtub upstairs to the bathroom downstairs, the door handles are loose, the back of the building is not finished, the owner lets her dogs out on the property and does not tidy it up, the pool was green, 2 caravans are standing at the edge of the garden and 1 car and everything is about to perish. The photos shown are from long ago it seems, because it doesn't look neat now. Therefore we will unfortunately not recommend the location to family and friends. Our group (9 adults and 2 children) is happy to improvise and came up with solutions. It could be a very nice location again, but then it needs serious TLC from a number of skilled people. Would be good for the owner too, because she is very friendly.

Wonderful old house, peace and quite abound

We had a 4 generation holiday, (oldest 90 and youngest 5). Enough room for everyone and the downstairs bedroom and wet room was ideal for Mum as she was all on one level. Marion was a great host. There when you needed her but not interfering. The welcome basket and the home made pavlova were really nice touches . Ideal location for many of the attractions the area has to offer. The local village has a lovely bakers and a small supermarket so everyday needs are close by. The 2 swimming pools were used a bit, but unfortunately the weather was a bit cool so the pool was a bit chilly. Can't do anything about the weather but a bit frustrating after the heatwave. If you want authentic old French nestled in the countryside then this is it.

There were 9 of us which included 5 children ranging in age from 16 - 5, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and there was plenty to keep all of the children entertained. Marian is a lovely host, very welcoming and helpful offering as little or as much advice as you may require. The property itself was very homely, plenty big enough for us all and with everything we could need. We did need to use the car to venture out anywhere and there were a couple of towns near by that are worth a visit and a meal out if you fancy. The beach that was recommended to us was about an hour and it was lovely, supermarkets are near by with everything you could need. We also visited the zoo which was a highlight. The pools were a great addition and the kids thoroughly enjoyed using them, they also loved the dogs and were sad to leave them. Thanks again x

Excellent accomodation for 7 guys that wanted to explore Normandy on motorcycles

Marianne is a wonderful host, very welcoming and very easy going - and boy does she make a good desert !! We had a 'welcome to Normandy' pavlova and a 'have a good ride home' lemon meringue pie 😁😁 The accomodation is a lovely period cottage with everything you need to make your stay comfortable - tucked away out in the countryside it is also VERY secure for a motorcycle holiday, all in all we loved our stay and would be happy to recommend to others.

Great location amazing host!

We had a lovely stay. We had 9 people total and we had more than enough space for sleeping and spending time together. Great for kids with all the play equipment out front and toys in the house. Marian is a wonderful host. We would recommend this property and stay here again if in the Normandy region of France.

Marian is really accommodating. There was 15 of us and it has plenty of space. Kitchen has plenty of equipment to cook.

Charming but tired.

Perfect location, peace and tranquillity. Marian was a perfect host. I celebrated my birthday while there and Marian made a huge strawberry pavlova, it was delicious. Marian allowed my friend, who lives in France, to stay over with no extra charge. We had seven grandchildren with us who enjoyed the swimming pools (one for toddlers), play area and badminton. Plenty of outdoor eating areas with a choice of BBQ's. Thank you for a memorable holiday.
