Lovely spacious room. Staff were very pleasant. Good selection at breakfast although cooked breakfast was warm not hot. The leisure facilities were good but bit run down . Saying that we would stay there again.

Bed comfortable. Had a little trouble with safe when setting up so didn’t use. The bathroom needs to be fixed. The shower head had a leak so bad it was spraying forceful water yup to ceiling ( you could tell not a new leak due to ceiling starting to show bubbling), the plate around the on/off was sitting loosely and shower head had some water dripping on it which sprayed it everywhere. Reported to front desk which acted like new to them. So either they are ignoring or housekeeping not reporting issues. Room key is way too sensitive. Had to rekey twice in 3 days

Dated and tired

The hotel is best described as dated , badly in need off a good clean outside and in! First room I was allocated had a problem , the aircon was so noisy and couldn’t be turned off, changed rooms at 3am. The second room a step up but still could do with some more updating. Breakfast was given as a gesture for having to move room , it was very basic and i really wouldn’t have paid for it. Fruit choice limited , scrambled egg looked awful. It’s used by cruise ship passengers and so was very busy hotel but for a couple of nights in town for an event the travel lodge where some friends stayed was a step up! Sadly would not stay again .

We checked in one hour early and they held our bags until our room was available. The room with King bed was big considering this was England & our rooms are usually shoebox size!!We enjoyed lunch & breakfast at their restaurant. You can walk to town for the mall and loads of eateries. We took an Uber to the port the next day for boarding which was reasonable & quick for our Cunard ship. Only thing I noticed not exactly right was a $44 charge when we checked out. Not clear on that as I thought payment was in full when I booked with Orbitz so I will be checking on that.

Avoid !

Stayed one night and didn’t dine at the hotel. The bed was only moderately comfortable, but the room—and the hotel overall—felt very dated and in need of refurbishment. There was a leak in the bathroom near the toilet, and the corridors were cluttered with cleaning carts. Back-of-house maintenance areas had doors propped open, giving an unsightly appearance. At checkout, the receptionist didn’t ask about my stay; when I questioned whether they cared, I had to offer my feedback unprompted. They showed very little interest. Overall, I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
