Comfortable stay

The staff were excellent very friendly and helpful, made you feel very welcome. Plenty of parking and a good location for the cricket at a fraction of the cost to properties nearer the stadium. It's definitely more of a b&b then hotel but you get a comfortable room and a good breakfast. There is a bar although it was limited to bottles it's better then nothing and also a pool table to pass the time. There is a fair bit of road noise so leaving the windows open when it's warm is not an option which meant the room was a bit warm but there was a fan provided. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Very warm friendly staff. Good layout to b and b with good facilities and car park.Room comfortable with lovely shower. Very quiet position with car needed to find an evening meal.

Great place, fabulous staff.

It's a lovely place, good location, delicious breakfast, but it's the staff that really make the stay great. They are truly the most welcoming, friendly and helpful people I've come across in years of hotel stays. We'll be back.

The staff were great and the breakfast was as good, room spacious and warm. Actually it was a little too warm and because it was next to a noisy road you couldn’t have the windows open. They need a more extensive choice at the bar and cheaper prices for what they obviously picked up there supply from the supermarket at a budget price but charged alot

This hotel ticked almost all of the boxes. It was clean and comfortable, a good price, the staff were very pleasant.. It would have benefited from having a fully equipped bar, and providing an evening meal. The nearby pub covered those areas, so not a big deal.

It was so comfortable, clean and the staff were amazing. Very friendly atmosphere and we can’t thank Paul and CJ for all their help and information. The food was lovely and plenty of it. Excellent quality for the price

We stayed for one night, greeted by Paul, who was friendly and helpful. Provided us with all the info we needed for our stay. Breakfast was good, basic choices of continental and full English. Good quality fresh produce used. Hotel itself is a little outdated however it was clean, towels in bathroom nice and thick, and products as in shampoo etc in shower. Free parking and plenty off it. Everything we needed for one night and more reasonable than the local Premier.

First time staying at this hotel. Clean and accessible. Excellent service particularly from Michael and Paul ( chef) . Will definitely re visit. Would have appreciated a grab rail in shower cubicle, but that was only omission.
