Welcome to Heartland Elk Guest Ranch. We are located in the beautiful Niobrara River Valley of north central Nebraska. Looking for an incredibly beautiful place to unplug, relax, and breathe some fresh air? You've definitely found the right place. Fully furnished cabin rentals off the beaten path. Nestled amongst the pines, you'll have quick access to miles of hiking trails, the Niobrara River, and some of the best views you'll find in the state of Nebraska.
These cabins offer the perfect escape into the woods. Each cabin comfortably sleeps up to six guests and features two bedrooms, and one bathroom. Each cabin is furnished with two queen beds and one full-size futon.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Smith Falls State Park. The cabin offers a kitchen and a fireplace.

I took my 2 14 year-old grandsons on an adventure to the NiobrarA and stayed in the Spruce cabin for two nights. Heartland elk Ranch is very private, quiet, and beautiful! The fact that they also provide all of the necessary floating equipment for the river is a big plus! Another plus… No TV or Internet for my two teenagers meant time for lots of great conversation and card games in the evenings!! the cabin itself was perfect for the three of us with two bedrooms and a futon sofa sleeper! The charcoal grill was nice for our evening steak dinner, and the propane fire pit was used both evenings for s’mores!! I am returning with my two sisters in September and looking forward to staying again!
