This cozy 3 bedroom, Old Florida waterfront home soothes the soul with it's coastal vibe and local nautical themes! Newly remodeled and situated on a direct Gulf access canal.
The public boat ramp is just down the street for easy access. Keep your boat moored at our floating dock and be out to the Gulf in minutes.

Three bikes available. Take a bike ride around the area, to local restaurants or into the Weeki Wachee Preserve where the entrance is just down the street.

Less than 10 minutes drive to the Weeki Wachee River at Rogers Park and less than 15 minutes to the Weeki Wachee Spring State Park

The Cabin by the sea was good to us. The house was well equipped, plenty of towels, extra blankets, even a beach bag we could use. We had a great time on the kayaks and even had the opportunity to kayak in the Weeki Wachee river. We rented a boat for a day. The flats are great for swimming, floating and just hanging out. Nav was simple but I do not recommend boating in this area if you aren't experienced in shallow waters. The dock worked out great, water in the canal is plenty deep even at low tide there was probably 6ft of water just off the dock. The dock is a beautiful place to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee. First time in Hernando Beach, it's a nice community, the neighborhood was quiet, safe, and very friendly. Great hosts, very accommodating and easy to work with. I would definitely rent from Jason and Andrea again.

Cute place!! Location was great. The boat dock definitely a plus.

Quaint little cottage

Quiet Getaway

My husband, mom, and 2 furbabies enjoyed our stay at Cabin by the Sea. We brought crab traps and had a great time catching crabs and fish from the dock. We loved being able to keep our boat there as well. We look forward to revisiting this and/or other properties hosted by Neptune. Great communication. Beautiful home.

Loved it!

Great location, launched and was at the property in 5 minutes. Easy parking onsite for truck and boat trailer. Fishing was good, bait store so close, and so easy to get to the Gulf! Place was well stocked, clean and nicely decorated. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Cozy home

Had a great stay here, the location is nice, the home very cozy and clean, the step down to the back of home can be challenging for some. The pontoon was not available to rent as the keys weren't there but that wasn't an issue we just went back for our boat. I would definitely stay here again.
