The only thing I didn’t like is that I was charge the 25 resort fee when I didn’t do any of the activities, if it’s mandatory to pay it should be included in the price. Other than that it’s beautiful place and the staff are amazing

This is such a wonderful spot! It feels like an old-world resort. The staff are attentive, and the property is beautifully appointed. Love the dog-friendly environment, which is consistent throughout the town itself. The deer roaming the streets are fairytale-like!

This is a classic resort hotel in St Andrew’s. It’s a short drive or walk to the wharf. We didn’t want a huge dinner and ate at Treadwell Inns restaurant. Excellent meal using local produce. Algonquin breakfast is excellent - continental or buffet. Room was small but nicely done with quality bedding and nice shower. We did not take advantage of any other resort extras, though you must pay a $25 resort fee.

It’s definitely an iconic hotel. Everything thing about it is classy. Apparently there are even a few ghosts at the hotel though I never encountered any. Ha. And if you love walking then I suggest you leave the car in parking lot and enjoy St. Andrews on foot.

Room was fine, staff was friendly, restaurant downstairs…pub style was awful…fish and chips were gross and greasy….I paid cash and server did not bring me change ..had to ask for it…and he indicated he had no change…it was a big todo to get me my change…he was expecting it to be all tip…rather awkward to have to ask for your change …pool was loud and noisy as there is construction going and no where was this mentioned when booking ..
