Fabulous Cobalt Cottage is located right in the heart of Historic St Augustine. While peacefully residential, you will be delighted to find shops and restaurants just a short stroll away. Downtown St Augustine is a vibrant area full of art galleries, many shops filled with locally made clothing and crafts, and a multitude of restaurants full of unique dishes whose tantalizing scents lure you inside. A pristine and charming home in a most perfect location. Come Visit!

Cobalt Cottage is tastefully remodeled inside and out. While everything is new, the charm of the historic district and the exquisite details in this home will make you believe that you have just stepped back into the 1800's. A most magnificent kitchen with large center island invites the most discerning of chefs and gives the family a fabulous place for friends to gather and enjoy. True hardwood floors. Italian leather recliners and sofa in the living room give a rich and comfortable presence and are wonderfully tempting to curl up and enjoy a lazy day. The Trolley passes in front of Cobalt Cottage and is enchanting to listen to the sounds of St Augustine as they pass by telling the history of our street and town. A stroll into commercial downtown exudes charm with the clip clop of the horses' hooves pulling a buggy. We invite you to discover our Nation's Oldest City in all its charm!

We hold nothing back and want for you to enjoy all of this home in all of its splendor. Welcome.

This home is in a charming neighborhood of historic makeovers, brand new modern homes and homes that have stayed exactly the same for years as they are passed down in the family. You are a very short walk to downtown and St George Street with all the shops and restaurants. Fabulous place to watch the Nights of Lights which is everyone's favorite time of year, mid November until end of January.

This home has 4 spaces for cars to park off street so you can bring a car, however it is totally walkable to everything downtown. Just over the bridge you will find Anastasia Island where you will enjoy our beautiful beaches. Downtown also has horse and buggy rides, red trolly and green trolly which take you to places downtown and also one of them will take you to the island.

While parking spaces downtown may be few and far between, at Cobalt Cottage you will find room to park 4 cars tandem on the side of the house. Also, the proximity to St George Street (please check it out), the marina and everything downtown is all within walking distance of this charming home.
You must be at least 25 years of age in order to make a reservation. The person who makes the reservation must occupy the residence for the duration of the reservation.

This place was perfect for our group! The house is gorgeous inside. Our kids insisted they wanted to move there. We were traveling with myself and husband, our 3 elementary aged kids (loved the bunk room), my parents, and my brother. This was such a great space for this combination of people. Very roomy, clean, modern. They’ve done a great job of updating the inside of a very old historic house! The only bummer of the house itself was that the back patio only connected to the master suite so everyone else either had to go through our room or outside to get to the back deck but this was not a huge issue. The backyard area wasn’t anything fancy but was super quiet and peaceful in the mornings with good privacy fencing and shrubbery. The location was fantastic! We could easily walk to the main sites in the historic heart of the city where we spent a lot of time! The house itself is right in the middle of numerous historic sites. We felt fully immersed in the history and culture of the city! We could easily drive a short distance to multiple beaches so not staying on the beach was not a problem for us. (Anastasia state park beach, for example, was about a 10 minute drive depending on traffic across the bridge). Check in process was easy an everything went smooth. This place overall was such a great value for the money and I’d highly recommend it!!!

Great location that is walkable to all of downtown St. Augustine. It had a bright, spacious downstairs kitchen and living area. The bridal party stayed here for a wedding and it was very clean, big, and perfect for what we needed. However, the plumbing kept going in and out in the bathrooms and at one point, one of the two showers did not work in the house. I think this is just a current issue and can easily be resolved. Other than that, the place was great and I would recommend to others!

We rented this home for our daughter’s wedding weekend and it was absolutely perfect for our group of six adults and three children. The layout worked so well, with a master suite and 1.5 baths downstairs, plus three bedrooms and an additional bathroom upstairs. Everything we needed was provided, and the website clearly outlined exactly what was included.The location couldn’t have been better—walking distance to everything, which made it so convenient for our stay. The only small suggestion I’d make is to bring along a few extra paper towels, but otherwise everything was just right.We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this home to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a great location.

The house location is excellent when visiting the old city, and the house inside is nicely done. Rooms including bedrooms are comfortable. Instructions for the tv were very poor, and frankly we didn’t expect to have to set up individual accounts to watch local stations and sports. Our biggest problem was 2 of our 3 day stay there was little or no water pressure. We were unable to flush the toilet or adequately shower on multiple occasions. Most disappointing we contacted the emergency number and reported the problem and were told that the problem would be reported, we would be contacted back, and someone would come by to investigate the problem. None of these occurred.

Terrific Place and Location

Most everything was great, but you will be asked to do much of the cleaning before you leave. Otherwise, some pretty substantial "fines" will be assessed. Really enjoyed it, though. Thank you.

Great house, perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at Cobalt Cottage. The house is homey, spacious, very clean & in a quiet neighborhood that’s just a few minute walk to everything. You can tell the owners care about the guest experience & provide plenty of extra linens & supplies. The furniture is all very comfy & high quality (except the king bed in the master is oddly squeaky) and the kitchen has everything needed. The master bedroom is downstairs with French doors opening to the back porch. Then the other three bedrooms are upstairs with one bathroom to share. There’s also a half bath on the main level so there’s plenty of privacy for a large group. The management company was great- very responsive & made the stay easy. Thank you for a great stay!

Cobalt Cottage

The location of this house was perfect for us. We were participating in our son’s wedding at the Cathedral with a reception at the Lightner, both were a short walk. The house itself was nice with a large kitchen/great room and even came with a decorated Christmas tree! The downside of the rental was that it was through a management company. They originally listed the rental as pet friendly, but when we looked at the house rules sent after our booking, pets were not allowed. So, we had to cancel our plans to bring our dog. Additionally, we had trouble fully closing the blinds in one of the French doors in the master bedroom and a motion activated light on the back porch kept waking us up at night. We called the management company, they said they would get back to us, but they never did.

Wedding weekend

As the mother of the bride…we needed a place to stay for the weekend and also host the bridal party the day of for hair and makeup. This home was perfect! Very large kitchen open to the living and dining area. We were able to have 3 hair and makeup artists working in 11 ladies very comfortably. Plenty of parking, great bathrooms. Nicely decorated,Everything in working order and very clean! Thank you!

Attended the Song Writer’s Festival

The Cobalt cottage was a wonderful house to rent for 10 adults with great location to everything in downtown St Augustine. We walked everywhere no need for a golf cart at this location (other than your ability to walk). We had 4 cars and were able to park them all without any problems. The only reason I did not give 5 stars across the board was over the sleeping arrangements. The top 2 bunks were not fit for adults or young adults, would not put a person over 50lbs on them. We made it by 2 adults sleeping in the very comfortable recliners and comfortable reclining sofa. I have made the property aware of the beds and they are fixing the issues. It really is a wonderful house and location. Would definitely rent it again ( just may bring an air mattress for emergencies)
