This newly renovated beach-side cottage is nestled within one of Vilano Beach's original seaside neighborhoods. Sand paths meander from the cottage towards the dune-lined beach walk for easy access to the ocean. (You do not have to cross A1A or drive to get to the beach )

Outside the home, you’re sure to feel the cool saltwater breeze while lounging by your private pool! Enjoy refreshing dips in the morning before lounging on the poolside deck. During the day, head to the beach or chill at home and challenge your friends at the regulation-size horseshoe pit and other outdoor games.

Inside this 2-story home, originally constructed in 1943, you’ll find new grey-washed laminate hardwood flooring. Bright colors and tasteful accents of nautical decor boost your mood and help relax the mind. A large L-shaped couch awaits for you to unwind in front of the flat-screen Smart TV with family and friends.

Cook up a new seafood recipe or entertain with ease in the fully equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, and a chic breakfast bar with table. Bring the feast outside to the large viewing deck to share while enjoying the beautifully landscaped gardens sprinkled with swaying palm trees.

The downstairs master bedroom offers a queen bed and a pullout bed that accommodates up to 2 travelers. Upstairs, you’ll find the second and third bedrooms - each with queen beds and their own flat-screen LED Smart TV. Each bedroom has access to an outdoor deck with seating and the bedrooms now have white-noise makers to increase sleeping comfort.

Kids can have their own unique space in the spacious loft that provides a twin bed with twin trundle and small TV with DVD player.

Everyone will be able to stick to his or her morning routine in one of the 2 elegantly designed bathrooms that both boast a double vanity.

Publix grocery store and several restaurants within walking distance. Vilano Beach Pier 0.5 Miles. Nature walk across the street. When staying on Vilano beach this beach house has the shortest drive time to get to historic St. Augustine.

We heat the pool October - April. As long as the temperature stays above 63 degrees we can keep the pool at 85 degrees. If the temperature drops below 63 degrees the pool temperature will drop proportionately.

There are two security cameras on the property. One is on the south-west corner of the property outside facing the driveway. The other is monitoring the garage. The garage is locked and off limits to guests.

Girls Weekend

We had an amazing time this year and this house was good choice. John was super communicative and the place was clean and well stocked. The location was perfect! The beach was quaint and beautiful. The Publix was across the street, as well as a lovely restaurant, a couple bars and coffee places. Everything within walking distance. We arrived a bit early and so happy that John had provided a picture as this house is right at the light. The cleaning crew was there and very pleasant. We unloaded our things on the porch and hung by the pool while they finished up. The house has three levels which I think is important to note, somehow we missed that part. One bedroom at the bottom with a full bath and laundry. The second floor had two bedrooms, a full bath, a kitchen and a patio and the third floor had a tiny vertical ladder to get to the bed and fouton. We are ladies in our 50's. That third level was not much used as we were afraid of breaking our neck and both of the mattresses were quite thin. The pool area had a ton of room to spread out and the pool was ready for use. One thing to note is there is not any shade and the high top chairs are in need of repair. We brought our pop up tent for the beach and it worked well at the pool as well. One night there was a thunderstorm and we would have loved to stay outside but there is no covered area. The bottom level is semi covered by a porch above, but it is slatted so rain come in. All in all it was a great time!

We enjoyed our time in Vilano. The house was comfortable but had some minor issues (no water pressure in the showers, fridge water dispenser didn’t work properly, no kitchen table, way more stairs than I realized which isn’t ideal for young/small kids, badly stained beach and bath towels. The shed with beach/pool toys was a bit chaotic and disorganized and we saw a couple mice/rats hanging out in there). The location was great for the adults but still a little ways away if you’re traveling with little kids or lots of stuff to bring to the beach. The pool was definitely the best part of this home! The water was warm and it was so spacious.

Great stay at the coast

Loved our stay. The pool area was incredible and such a convenient location with the beach just a short walk away(my 2 year old did it twice a day no issues!) plus having the Publix across the street is a big help. The drive to downtown st Augustine was less than 10 minutes and could walk to the fishing pier with a view of downtown. Would 10/10 stay again.

This property was everything we wanted & more! It is in the perfect location. My group did not have a car, so the Publix and other restaurants across the street were amazing! The Uber into town was only 10-15 minutes, too. Also, the beach was not crowded and it was so clean! The host is also very responsive and friendly. My family and I enjoyed our stay! The house with a pool in the back yard and a 5 minute walk to the beach was great. The house is just like the pictures and contact with the owner was easy. The pull out bed in the downstairs bedroom needs to be replaced immediately! It CAN NOT be used!!! You will fall through. Don’t count that in your sleep count. The only thing I did NOT like….we had to take the garbage cans to the road for pick up and bring them back to the house.

10 day gvacation!

Property was exactly what it said it would be. Owner was very responsive to any questions that occured. We had plenty of room and dis not feel like we were on top of each other. We had so much fun. Wonderful surprise

I was a little worried at first because of the proximity to the main road, but it was never an issue. Walk to the beach was short and pool was fabulous. We even walked to the Publix for necessities. There is a nature walk across the street that goes under the bridge. We enjoyed looking for crabs there. Great location. Kids really loved the loft. I would love to go back again.

Went with 4 adults and 2 kids - the pool was beautiful surrounded by lovely landscaping, perfect temp for swimming. Beach was a short walk away and not a crowded section due to houses all around - hotels a few blocks away. Short (less than 10 min) drive to gorgeous downtown area. Host very nice and responsive - very organized and house and property very well cared for. Would definitely go here again!
