Step into the Honeymoon Room — your private, romantic hideaway inside a lovingly restored historic home. The room blends vintage charm with modern comfort, featuring deep green walls, floral art, and soft pink accents. Relax in the king-sized bed or soak in the corner jacuzzi after a day of exploring St. Augustine’s enchanting streets.



Enjoy the privacy of your own suite while also having access to beautifully maintained shared areas that reflect the home’s warm, welcoming character.

​This room includes one parking spot in our back lot (small vehicles only; large SUVs and trucks will not fit). The lot is to the left of the hotel.



Please display the parking tag in your window at all times. Failure to display the tag could result in your vehicle being towed.



Important: Failure to leave the tag in your room at checkout will result in a $100 fee.

Guest Access:

You will have access to Fern Room and the common spaces of the Inn. There are nine other rooms that are also for rent in the home, each are completely private. .



This room is upstairs with shared access to the balcony.



Parking Reminder:

If you’re arriving in a large SUV or truck, please be aware that the assigned parking spaces in the back lot cannot accommodate oversized vehicles. We recommend parking on the street or using nearby public parking options instead to avoid any issues.

St. Augustine is known as the nation's Oldest City, it provides more than just picturesque cobblestone streets, historical landmarks, and immaculate beaches. It is the oldest continuously inhabited European-established community in the continental United States. There are a ton of fascinating tales and historical facts here as well.

​Southern Wind Inn was built in 1916, so the walls have a bit of old-fashioned “character.” To help with this, each room includes a plug-in sound machine for your comfort.



Health & Safety: We prioritize the health, safety, and comfort of our guests. Each stay is followed by a thorough cleaning to maintain a welcoming environment.



Late Check-Outs & Early Arrivals



1-2 hours: $100

2-3 hours: $200



Note: Early arrivals and late check-outs are not guaranteed due to our tight cleaning schedule. Please request approval in advance.



Refund Policy



A 3.9% processing fee on refunds is non-refundable. Refunds will be the amount paid minus this fee, per Stripe's policy. This applies to direct booking and bookings made through select booking channels.



General Guidelines

●NO PETS ALLOWED.

●Age Requirement: Primary guest must be 21+, with an adult over 21 present during the stay.

Food & Drink: No food or drink in bedrooms (closed water bottles allowed); extra cleaning fees for stains.

●No Smoking: Smoking of any kind is prohibited; $200 fine for violations. Additional charges will incur to cover repair or cleaning costs.

●Trash: Dispose of all trash in outside bins before departure.

●Damages: Report any damages within 24 hours of occurrence or immediately upon arrival. Failure to report damages could result in liability for repair or replacement costs.

●Dishes: Wash all dishes and run the dishwasher (if applicable) before leaving.

●Windows: Keep windows closed for security.

●Storage Closet: Keep this area closed and locked.

●Consumables: Leftover items are at your discretion; freshness is not guaranteed.

●Furniture: Do not rearrange.

●Parties & Events: Unauthorized parties are not allowed; violations will result in additional charges and immediate eviction.

●Only registered guests are permitted to stay at the property. If you would like to add extra guests beyond the number initially registered, please request approval before finalizing your booking. Any additional guests that exceed the maximum allowed at the property will incur an additional charge of $100 per person. This requires approval from us prior to booking.

●Illegal Activities: Will result in immediate eviction.

●Quiet Hours: 10pm to 7am. Please be respectful of neighbors.
