Cactus Flower Cottage is a charming 1-bedroom cottage nestled in Fish Bay, one of St. John's quietest neighborhood. Built amoungst 200 year old ruins still visable on property. Enjoy fresh papaya, coconut and other fruit from trees throughout the gardens when in season. A 10-minute ride from Cruz Bay on paved roads. The cottage includes a full kitchen, covered deck, outside private native stone shower, established landscaping, air-conditioning in the bedroom, cable TV, high-speed internet, solar hot water, water view of Fish Bay and the Caribbean Sea. Guests at the cottage have full use of the pool, which is adjacent to the main house. North Shore Beach access is a 5-10 minute drive. South Shore Beaches, historic ruin sites and National Park Trails are walking distance. Vehicle rental is strongly recommended. Taxi service is also easy.

We had a fantastic stay in the cactus flower cottage in the Fish Bay area—such a beautiful, peaceful setting surrounded by lush tropical landscape. The property itself was wonderful, especially the dark and cool bedroom, which made it so comfortable to relax and get a great night’s sleep. The deck was absolutely beautiful and a perfect spot to unwind and take in the surroundings. We also really appreciated having access to a washer and dryer—it made the stay even more convenient. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and we would definitely come back

Tina and Joe have created a peaceful nook that has everything you need plus extras to enjoy the island! We loaded up our jeep everyday with nice beach chairs and a cooler they have at the cottage and enjoyed the ambiance of the outdoor shower to rinse off the day! Porch was amazing for coffee and wine time!! Very clean, no problems checking in or out, they have a generator too but no power issues while we were there . Hope we get to come back! Tina sent spot on helpful tips on how to navigate things from taxis to groceries which made traveling easier for our first trip. Many thanks for a great stay!!

We recently stayed at this charming cottage and had a wonderful experience. This is our third stay on this property. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcomed. This cottage is beautifully maintained, cozy and thoughtfully decorated. The living area is warm and inviting -perfect for unwinding in the evenings as is the porch area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed making it easy to prepare meals. The bedroom is comfortable & quiet and we slept well. Everything was spotlessly, clean and well organized. We especially appreciated the peaceful outdoor space with all of the unique plants of the area. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch with the beautiful view. It really felt like a private retreat away from the noise of every day life back in New Hampshire. Tina and Joe are friendly and responsive. They have attention to detail and made sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, this is the perfect getaway and we will happily return next year. Highly recommend this place to others.

Second time staying in the home. I’ll say to anyone traveling to the area, this is the go to!! Home was far enough outside of town that we didn’t feel like true tourist (we were, but you get it). The cottage was lovely. I’d say the only confusion in the description was whether it was near a beach. There was a beach nearby but I did not see any obvious place to park or enter the beach, it appeared to be all private access. The beach had a sargasm issue in July anyway, so we spent our time beach hopping the beautiful northern beaches. The cottage was clean and fully stocked including towels, beach towels, extra linens and pillows, paper goods, and kitchen supplies. Basic spices were available in the pantry. The hosts were friendly and helpful but we did not run into them frequently. There was something magical about the outdoor shower. In addition to being super fun to use, my hair has never been that soft. I even ordered her shampoos at home but it must have been the water because I can’t replicate it. I also admired the lovely screened in porch, fully furnished and offering the wonderful peeper songs at night. If it wasn’t 100 degrees we would have used it more. The bedroom had a king and was a good size. The bedding and linens were quality. After the rains I could pick up a perfect fallen flower on the front stair for my hair. 100% get the jeep. Would stay here again and recommend!

St John’s adventure

Tina was very helpful and communicative. Cactus Flower was a wonderful place for us as we explored the island. She had beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear and even a cooler we could use during our stay. Our last day we enjoyed the lovely pool and hot tub as well. The air conditioning in the bedroom was very nice and allowed for restful sleep after full days of hiking and swimming. Thank you for opening up your bungalow to us!

Loved our stay at Cactus Flower Cottage!Great interaction with the owners,and especially loved the snuggles with their kitties and pup!Spent lots of time on the beautiful covered deck and it was very relaxing!Beautiful and peaceful! definitely understand it is an open air cottage, it was a blessing to have air conditioning in the bedroom as the rest of the cottage can be pretty warm when the high! Nonetheless, we would definitely return again and very much, enjoyed it!

Truly an amazing cottage in paradise

St. Johns in general.

Accommodations were okay. Air-conditioning was in the bed room only. St. Johns island itself was horrible. Too many people. If you didn't get to the beaches by 8:30 there was no parking spaces left and you may as well go home. The restaurants were mediocre and expensive and you need to make a reservation a week in advance. I will never go to any USVI ever again. Try Virgin Gorda or Anguilla they are much better.
