Definitely one of the nicer hotels in the State College area, with friendly front desk staff, nice grounds, easy access via Fullington bus shuttle to Beaver Stadium for football game, however, towels were stained, sink water came out like a drip, pillows so big you need a chiropractor in the morning, mattress was too soft. Most upsetting, though, was being roughly told by the restaurant, when we could see diners eating and was fairly empty, that they would not seat us with no explanation. Perhaps low staff? Wouldn’t know, they didn’t say.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were friendly. Areas of possible improvement lighting in the bathroom was dim and the shower was peeling and rusty. I had a hard time using the shower faucet. The location was great and parking was free and ample at the hotel.
