Farmhouse with wildlife close to Steinkjær

This traditional farmhouse offers a truly special sense of tranquility, whether you’re traveling alone or with a group. Here, you’ll be close to nature: Roe deer are a daily sight from the windows, and occasionally hares or foxes make an appearance. In winter, you can spot reindeer from the Southern Sami reindeer herding community.

You can take a nice hike up the Kjøråsvåttån hill, which takes about an hour from the house to the top, where there’s a cabin. At the Fossem Bridge, two kilometers away, you’ll find a hidden gem for swimming and freshwater fishing, mostly used by locals.
