History enthusiasts can delve into the past at the Museum of East Anglian Life in nearby Stowmarket too. Debenham and its surroundings are perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of Suffolk, where history, nature, and village charm harmoniously coexist. Once a larger house that has now been split into three cottages, this pretty home is generous for two guests looking for a romantic countryside getaway.
Step inside and you are welcomed into the sitting room which has large inglenook fireplace with roaring wood burner keeping the cottage toasty in the chillier months, as well as a television to watch all your favourite shows and movies. From here it follows into the modern kitchen that has an excellent rangemaster cooker, integrated appliances, and a dining table for two. The shower room is also on the ground floor with a large walk-in shower. The character continues as you head upstairs, with a steep winding wooden staircase taking you to the spacious bedroom which boasts a four-poster double bed and high vaulted ceilings.
The courtyard garden is a private enclosed space with a bistro table and chairs, just perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening tipple with dinner.
