Lovely room, great staff, this is the second stay at the Swans nest and it didnt disappoint the location is ldeal for the town close enough (5min walk)to all Stratford can offer but far enough to be quiet and relaxing, the only niggle I have and its a personal hate of mine is the restaurant staff do not wear a uniform and it shows a lack of professionalism and pride in what is a very nice restaurant and especially when there is another busy restaurant just over the road even if its only a shirt or apron with the restaurants name on it and shoes not scuffy trainers it devalues the whole experience, the menu is good the quality is good the bar is good ,the rest of the hotel staff are spot on
We enjoyed our stay at the Swans Nest. The location was super convenient yet quiet. Our room was spacious.
When travelling to hot tourist spots don't expect your parking to be free, it just doesn't happen. Our parking was half price if you pay for it through the hotel instead of via the app on the signs. That was such a good deal!
The restaurant and pub on sight are independent but they give you a discount and their food is good.
It's a lovely and easy walk to the theatre and the whole town, plus the waterside park which abuts the hotel is lovely. We walked all the way down to the weirs. So beautiful.
We enjoy Stratford and regularly attend plays at the RSC, so we will be back!
Receptionist was lovely, really friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable, spacious and well furnished and we slept so well. Bathroom could be cleaner, cobwebs around window and black mould in corner of bath/shower and door mouldings covered in dust which is a shame because everything else was amazing and the position perfect next to the river and a short uber ride to the castle in Warwick
An okay hotel, no lifts and despite us booking a child under 1 they tried to put us upstairs and hadnt sorted a cot for us. However great location for our visit
Picked hotel as it had it's own parking even if it paid because we could walk into the town centre. Very quiet despite its central location. Very happy with our club room overlooking the inner courtyard lawn. Decent size rainwater shower. Room although good is getting ready for a refresh same in bathroom. Ate in pub attached to hotel pleasant meal but nothing special.
Fantastic location by the river. Staff are all very friendly and the service was excellent. Will definitely be returning.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Shabby
Room is in need of updating. Curtains faded, uninspiring decor and generally tired and shabby. Dark inside too. Outside the front and side of hotel needs more tidying and maintenance. We were staying on my wife’s 60th birthday but the hotel did feel as well presented as I remember. Shame.
Hotel was fine, but a couple of issues that were pretty much dismissed by reception staff. 1. The car park sign says 24 hours parking for £10, the website say £10 for a day, the staff say it's up to checkout time and try to charge £1 per hour after that. The room was really hot, not helped by the towel rail being on full blast.
We have stayed here a few times and always enjoy it's proximity to the theatre, the lovely surroundings and the helpful and cheerful staff. Breakfast is good, nice a la carte selection and rooms confortable. The walk back from town in the evening, with the lights on the water is especially pretty.
