Nice little stay

Check in was easy and friendly. Our car registration was taken for the car park as it’s a payment one. We stayed in Blossom which is a short walk along the road. There is also parking there. The room was good and spacious, comfortable large bed, tv and coffee making facilities. We had breakfast at the hotel which was good too.

good base for a short stay

Lovely and welcoming - friendly staff - my room was spacious and clean - up two flights of stirs so fine for me but beware if you have mobility issues to ask for a ground floor! Lovely breakfast good choices,

Clean and comfortable!

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. We slept really well. The bath was nice and clean. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at The Bear Inn for two nights (21st & 22nd December) and ate in the restaurant the evening of Sunday 22nd. Our room was great; very clean with a comfy bed, quiet and spacious with everything we needed. Breakfast both mornings was excellent as was our meal on December 22nd. Each time the staff were hard working, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Always there with a laugh and a smile. We'd definitely consider staying at The Bear Inn again when we're next on our travels as it's ideally located for Wells, Glastonbury and the Haynes Motor Museum, places we visited during our stay.
