My stay at this hotel couldn't have gone better. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location was out of this world. The views out our hotel window were world class. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The view is very good. The hotel is old and the room smells old too. They don't have early check-in. We had to come back and check-in later. I have ordered 2 rooms but they were in different floors. The staffs don't greet us when we ate breakfast, maybe they are shy?

incredible views from this historic hotel

The location of this hotel is awesome. The views from the hotels are incredible! The hotel rooms are a bit dated, and given the age of this unique Historic hotel, that is to be expected. The old pictures in the piano lounge are really fun to look at! It’s a really close drive to the summer ski place and some really nice national park areas.

Sparse But Good

This old hotel is a bit remote, but in a lovely location with a waterfall on the edge of the property. With a car, the hotel is wonderfully situated for visiting fjords and glaciers. The rooms are sparse but comfortable. The front desk manager, Pers, is extremely helpful.

Excellent hotel, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in this hotel. This hotel was built in 1905 and gone through a lot of renovation but kept its old style. It is located on top of the mountain overlooking the beautiful valley and also very close to the waterfall and 8 km away from ski center. Would like to thank the hotel owner and wish him all the best.

Fin beliggenhet og rom .Innsjekk gikk fint. Kun 1 alternativ av middag da vi kom som var en buffé med tynt utvalg til over 500 kr pr pers. Kokk ville ikke lage noe annet. Fikk kranglet oss til 6 stk smørbrød med diameter på 6cm. Så det ble middagen den kvelden. Frokost med helt greit utvalg. Bacon og eggerøre gikk tomt i over 20 min så var nok noen gjester som var frustrerte. Inntrykk av uerfarne på kjøkken som ikke fulgte opp i matsalen.
