Historic three-bedroom chestnut cabin in heart of Valle Crucis!

Ontaroga -Experience historic Valle Crucis, NC in Ontaroga, a rare chestnut cabin within walking distance of the original Mast General Store, Valle Crucis Community Park, Watauga River, etc. This 1930s cabin has three bedrooms, a full kitchen and a large wrap-around porch. Bedrooms 1 and two have queen beds. Bedroom 3 has a full size bed. The bathroom is updated with new fixtures that includes a full-size bathtub and shower. WIFI is provided along with a Smart TV. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker (coffee is provided). You can enjoy a historic setting with the amenities of home.

This cabin was built in 1935 by Howard Murry, a popular local watercolor artist. Aspects of the cabin are original and will need a little TLC (such as opening the original windows). We ask that all who stay in our cabin help us look after this treasured structure.
