The hotel was ok the beds were not the best and the pillows gave little support. Pool would of been great except the sauna wasn't hot the hot tub had very little jets that were working. Pool was warm though and spacious. I have been to many hotels and know never to bring glass to the pool but at this place you were not allowed to bring any drink to the pool side and was told rudely by the employee working of such rule. We were the only ones in the pool at the time. Also not allowed to bring towels from pool pack to room so dripping water all over carpet when returning to room. Also no elevator so many trips up and down stairs when loading and unloading vehicle.

Clean and parts appeared recently renovated. Breakfast was not up to par as other places but was adequate. Very conveniently located next to Highway on the side of Superior closest to Minnesota.

Inexpensive place near Duluth

Nice, inexpensive (in the area) hotel. Pool was warm, which was nice. Little disappointed that the jets in the hot tub didn't work (stayed for the hot tub because we were sore after a day of helping people move). Shower had great water pressure and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty simple.

Great stay!!

We stayed so that my granddaughter couple compete in a dance competition. It was a great stay! Clean. Friendly staff. Pool and hot tub were clean and perfect temperatures!!

Room was good for the price. Breakfast was only adequate. Smelled cigarettes when I was leaving because there was an old coffee can by the front door that still had a lit cigarette in it. Grossed me out.

Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. It was confusing because the signs said breakfast was served until 10, but they were closing up breakfast at 9. No one seemed to know end of breakfast time. Otherwise, the pool was fun for the kids. Great stay for a couple of nights.

Staff are very friendly, the building is just fairly outdated. The room had a dusty smell, the outlets were loose and wouldn’t keep a charger plugged in, and the lounge chair and couch looked like they have seen decades of use. The building also doesn’t have an elevator, so you have to bring all your luggage up the stairs if you’re on the 2nd floor.
