Just steps from Rotherslade and Langland beaches, you can literally see, hear and taste the sea at Rotherslade Beach View apartment. You'll enjoy sitting on the balcony having a relaxing morning coffee, or evening wine, while listening to the waves crashing below. With an outstanding view of the beach, you can be swimming in the crystal clear waters, or taking a stroll on the sandy expanse of beach within minutes.
The first floor apartment offers a stylish, comfortable stay just a 10 minute walk from the village of Mumbles, on the beautiful south Wales coast. Located at the end of a quiet no-through road, the apartment is ideally situated to enable you to explore stunning coastal walks on the Wales Coastal Path, which is located at the top of the beach, or the inland walks in the area. It is also the ideal base for exploring the many beautiful beaches and villages of the Gower by car.
Rotherslade and Langland beaches offer a large expanse of sand, and clean water for swimming in, paddle-boarding or surfing in. There is a cafe at the top of the beach or a further cafe plus a restaurant a five minute walk away at the Langland slipway.
The village of Mumbles is a 15 minute direct walk, a 35 minute walk around the cliffs, or a five minute drive away. You can park easily in the apartment's dedicated free parking space, with more free parking available on the road.
In Mumbles you will enjoy trying the great array of restaurants, pubs, bars and ice cream parlours. There are also all the sorts of shops and amenities you'd expect on a high street, as well as some great independent shops.
Rotherslade Beach View apartment has been refurbished and furnished to a high standard with stylish mid-century furniture. It offers an extremely comfortable stay with seating for four people in the open plan living area to relax, and a large Smart TV on which you can log in to your favourite streaming service. We pride ourselves on providing a well-equipped and sparkling clean place for you to enjoy your holiday.
You will enjoy spending time on the balcony overlooking the beach with its table and seating for four - great for al fresco dining or breakfast to the sound of the waves and seagulls!
If you choose to self-cater, the kitchen is compact but very well-equipped, including a full size oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee capsule machine and Smeg appliances.
The main bedroom has a very comfortable super kingsize bed with plenty of clothes storage, while the second bedroom has full size twin beds, and clothes storage.
You'll enjoy getting refreshed again after a day at the beach in the bathroom, which has a spacious walk in shower, along with a toilet, basin and vanity unit.
The apartment has a washer dryer available, which saves on packing.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please remove any rubbish - bagged rubbish can be put in the car park bins. All food should be removed from the fridge and any spillages wiped up.
Please put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on/hand wash and leave them in the rack. No need to strip the beds but place used towels in the bathroom please. Our cleaners will do the rest!
Please turn all lights off, and lock up, leaving the keys in the key safe. Have a safe journey home.

We stayed at the apartment for a week, & we really enjoyed our stay overall. The apartment had all of the amenities that we needed. The view of the ocean was incredible, & there were nice walks along the ocean a very short distance from the apartment. The beach was also a very short walk from the apartment. The host was very helpful & responsive too. We would definitely stay at the apartment again.

Stylish and immaculate, with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. View over the bay. Only one parking space but unlimited on-street parking. 10 minutes walk to shops and a choice of restaurants in Mumbles. Lovely coastal walks and a short drive to wide beaches of Langlands and Caswell Bay.

A short break ruined….

Sadly we can only describe our stay at this apartment as a horrendous experience. We were told by the owner the week before that scaffolding had been put up around the apartments, but she said ‘we do not anticipate this will impact your comfort.’ Well it most certainly did. We were unable to use the balcony due to the scaffolding, filthy outdoor furniture from the work being carried out and furthermore the scaffolding totally blocked out the sun. The noise first thing in the morning was unbearable which meant we didn’t spend any time in the apartment until much later in the evenings when the workmen had gone. We also do not agree with other reviews saying how spotlessly clean this apartment was. To find dirty bloodstained tissues down the side of one of the beds is totally unforgivable. We will definitely NOT be returning and the short break we were so looking forward to it turned out to be an absolute disaster. The owner did partially refund us but in hindsight we should have demanded a full refund for the experience we encountered.

Lovely stay with a short walk into Mumbles

It was a lovely property in a great location. The owner was really easy to communicate with and the beach and coastal walk were beautiful.There was some scaffolding at the property which the owner inform us of beforehand. This was not being used. There were some early works on a flat downstairs but we let the owner know and they let us know it would be handled.I would stay again

Ideal pad for work and pleasure

Perfect spot to relax after working by day in Swansea. Idyllic view and heavenly to have walks along the coast path before and after work. Excellent selection of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. My daughters enjoyed swimming, the local and other beaches and trips to a National Trust property all within a 30 minute drive whilst I worked. The apartment and surrounding area was very quiet indeed. The apartment, linens and contents all super clean. Excellent WiFi and all the basics you could need. Can’t fault it and would definitely return and recommend it. Also the owner supplied a really useful info sheet with various recommendations which were spot on.

Fantastic Apartment

Lovely two night stay at this immaculate coastal apartment. Instructions / Communication with Margaret was excellent. Beautiful location with sea views, very near to a cafe and coastal walks. Great location near the beach

We stayed for 4 nights over Easter and had a fantastic time. The apartment is within a few minutes of the beach, and the coastal path between The Mumbles and Caswell Bay (and beyond if you're feeling energetic). The apartment had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and comfy enough to be a home away from home. Some great places to eat and drink within a short walk. Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent place to stay

We stayed in this property for 2 nights whilst visiting the area for a family birthday celebration. The property is extremely comfortable - we all commented on how comfortable the beds were ! It was very clean and tidy, nice and warm given its the winter. It was also a pleasant surprise as there were a few essentials in the cupboard ( often places don’t do this any longer ). Lovely to have a sea view. I would definitely recommend this property and we plan to use it again another time.
