I arrived a bit early & my room was still being cleaned, however I was able to leave my suitcase in the room while I went out and about. The shared kitchen/lounge is excellent and I loved being able to make my own toast and coffee each morning. The room was excellent - comfy bed with great pillows and the shower was great! I’d definitely stay again.

The staff were very good and the room and en-suite were clean and the bed was comfortable. It would have been good if there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room, rather than just in the communal area. A couple of chairs in the room would also be good.

We loved our stay at the North Sydney Hotel. All of the staff we interacted with were fantastic, the room and bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and the communal guest lounge was a lovely place to relax. Getting there from Central Station was easy and fast - we took the metro to Victoria Cross station and from there it was an easy two-block walk (be sure to use the north exit of the station). There are also buses that run along the street if it is raining or you have luggage - the bus stops directly across from the hotel. Will definitely be staying again!

The staff were quite rude on arrival, we felt like we were being a nuisance by checking in. The hotel has lovely old charm and the shared bathroom and kitchen were a surprise, but it was okay. The room was clean and comfortable but the breakfast options were a bit disappointing. It felt a bit like a backpackers vibe.

Clean room and private shower is what we selected. Two floors no elevator. There is a Bistro and Bar below the hotel. Andrew was friendly and helpful assisting us with our luggage to our room. Excellent Bistro menu and bar service. We had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries and it was the best I ever had. We recommend the PC sandwich. I even complimented the chef loudly in the Bistro.

A very economical way to stay in Sydney. Easy walk to Victoria Cross metro station. Strait forward and friendly check in. Room was immaculate, as were shared bathroom facilities. Kitchen facilities high quality too.

It is a very quaint hotel with comfortable rooms. The staff came into the room, while we were there, because the door locks don't work. There is no staff before 10am, and no clear indication about where to go to check in. ( It is inside the pub.) The location is very convenient for transportation, and a great walking area. The staff were lovely when available.
