Close to Wynyard station, and pretty central. It was a bit odd to check-in, I wasn’t sure where to go and had to wait a bit for the manager, but no issues with customer service. The facilities are decent and overall clean. The toilet and showers are separate. I would have preferred to have an internal lock in addition to the key lock, but that’s more a preference. I would stay again, definitely a good budget option.

Poor maintenance. Our window wasn’t working ok. Quite smelly room, lift and all place. Walls are super thin. We had people in next door rooms staying up till very late and we couldn’t sleep with the noise. Service was good. Location is great close to main Sidney places at walking distances but I wouldn’t stay there again.

This magnificent 175 year iold grand lady was a delightful place to stay in. Location was superb. Transport at the door to cbd, airport, Central everywhere. Outstanding value for money in Sydney. Helpful friendly staff and very vlean bathrooms. A range of Dining options very nearby including at The occidental. We loved the grace of this beautiful heritage building.

Pros :- ideally placed location to explore the famous city sights Good size bedroom (the 3 beds version) with clean comfortable beds Nice clean shower room Helpful friendly staff Cons:- It’s more of a noisy pub downstairs with rooms above than a hotel Can be a bit noisy at night (best if on 4th or 5th floor) Decor, carpets etc a bit worn out/tired Verdict: ok for short stays and very central
