Very friendly staff. Loved our tour by Helen. She was friendly, knowledgeable and evidently passionate about her work an animals! Deserves a promotion!! One of a kind experience. We are already going back as recommended by Helen for an event. Thank you all the lovely staff onsite and working behind the scenes to make our trip memorable!!!

After a long 16hr flight we went strait to the retreat at 9am. Our room was available so we were able to head there, shower, make tea and relax. The room was, very clean, modern and comfortable. Opening the slider to see a koala just sleeping in a tree. The zoo was great. We had dinner in their bar while looking across the harbor at Sydney opera house and bridge. Then slept 11hrs straight. I’m sure this is the reason we never had jet lag. Would definitely recommend

Stay there for for my daughter's second birthday, we had a great time! The staff is lovely and very helpful, the facilities and location are excellent. The only downside is the choice for dinner either a restaurant or a very limited bar menu, none of the options were suited for a lively full of energy tottler, but we managed with pizza and salad. We will definitely be back.

Staying at the Wildlife Retreat at Taronga Zoo was a wonderful experience. We had access to the zoo for the entire duration of our stay. Our room had a view of the Harbour Bridge and we overlooked the Grey Kangaroo exhibit. The on-site Me-Gal restaurant overlooks the harbour. This is where we had our daily breakfast (included in the price of our stay) and a wonderful dinner. Free carpark was a bonus. A ferry service and buses are available for those wishing to go into the CBD. Very friendly helpful staff. Would highly recommend staying here for a unique experience.
