This hotel needs a serious upgrade. The city had shut down one of their elevators, and while we were there, they had another elevator go down. One elevator for all 20 something floors! I asked if I could use the service elevator and was told, "they couldn't accommodate that." Even though I had a cart, a five year old and we were on the 16th floor. Finally a manager let us in the service elevator - but it took some convincing. The rooms were clean but the furnishings are very old. Dining there seemed to be an inconvenience. We stood at the "wait to be seated" sign for a long time, when someone finally acknowledged us they asked, how can I help you? Not, how many tonight for dinner or something that eluded he was there to seat us.

The hotel has not been maintained so the basics you would expect in a botique hotel were missing (ice machines were broken and only one elevator would work at a time).

Our room was so hot and they said there was no air conditioner. Ice machines only worked on two of the floors. Only two elevators were operating. The lobby and bar was great but the rooms are horrible even with an "upgrade".

The hotel is tried and needs maintenance badly. Elevators very slow and only 2 out of 3 work. No air condtioning in room which was very warm. They dont turn the chillers on until closer to summer. They had many complaints about that. For the money not worth it.

We had a spacious room and it is dog friendly hotel with a minimal charge per night for pups. They had a very convoluted credit system for passing on servicing the room. We didn't get our "voucher" so in the future I would just get our room made up. Otherwise this is a very central hotel for downtown Tacoma.

It's a great hotel in a convenient location. My only issue is the charge for parking which I think should be included with your stay. I think they charged us $22 for overnight parking but you really have no other options as you are a captive audience.

It was a lovely hotel. The restaurant Bite has an amazing breakfast if you dont wake up in time for the free breakfast or if you would just like something different. The parking lot is right next to the Hotel so you don't have to walk far. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Check in and Check out was a breeze. Thank you for making our trip to WA pleasant.

It is close to the convention center, and parking is free and easy. We could walk to the convention center, and an umbrella was provided in the room, as it was raining, we took advantage.

Hotel and art! Loved the combo.

Visited the hotel when I was there on business. Was really happy with atmosphere, cleanliness of the room, service, and location. When I wasn’t rushing from a meeting, I enjoyed strolling down the halls and looking at the amazing art.

I will never book another night at your hotel again after the terrible customer service provided by the manager, Anna, and her front desk staff. I book many rooms at your hotel every year, including last night for Mr Sachin Joshi. I extended his stay until tomorrow, but your staff, on Anna's instructions, refused to let him back into the room because, despite being told by someone at the front desk that I could fill it in when I returned to my office in two hours, I had not yet filled in the credit card authorization form. Keep in mind that he had provided a card for the previous room.
