The room was nice, and the staff (Justin) was courteous and accommodating. However, the service was not good. Before our trip, I tried sending messages (thru Hotels.com messaging and W Hotel email) that we needed airport transfer. I also replied to their email that we’ll be at the hotel by 2pm. But I didn’t get any response. Second, upon check-in (we arrived at the hotel at 3pm), one of our rooms was not yet ready. We were tired from our early flight and was expecting to rest upon checkin, but we were disappointed that one of our tooms was not yet ready. One female staff at the check-in counter was even rude about it. I’ve been to many hotels around the world. Expensive hotels equals great service, but not W Taipei. Disappointing.
