This was a great old (circa 1948) hotel, emphasis on old. Our host/owner Mike welcomed us and took the time to share the history of the hotel and community. This may not be for everyone but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Hootie Creek is a great place to stay. The history articles and pictures posted throughout the building was a learning experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
