Stay here a lot. So close to the airport but in a great area. Walk to restauants, free parking is a big plus. Go to the Florida Bakery (a short walk down Kennedy Blvd) for a real Cuban sandwich.

Clean, nice starting area to get to other parts of Tampa. Free self park. Coffe maker did not work. Loud doors banging all morning, I think we were next to staff rooms especially since it was frequent during maid service times

I loved how quiet our stay was. The only issue I had was returning back from our dinner by 11:25, but they had closed the valet after advising 12am. Also, the room was a little dusty over the bed, but it was a decent hotel in Tampa.

The carpet in my room was obviously frayed in several places. The toilet was wobbly. Whole property is pretty outdated and looks like it would have been a spot for filming Weekend at Bernie’s. I tried several times to call the front desk / guest services from my room. Just rang and rang for minutes on end, no response. Would’ve picked somewhere else.

Upon landing there was no directive on where or how to catch the shuttle. I had to call the hotel 5 times and listen to the auto answer countless times before someone even answered, just to find out what time the shuttle runs. I asked what it looks like and what lot does it go to. The person on the phone had no clue. Upon arrival..we were given a handicapped room, which is fine (neither of us are handicapped and this was not requested just as a side note). The shower heads were caked with, what I assume to be, calcium so they looked dirty and water shot every which way but down out of the thing. The fridge is in a cabinet, but the doors open against each other so you can’t open it. This was a problem for me because I’m diabetic and my insulin needed to be stored in it. Overall..it was a bed and only for a night but if I ever stay over in Tampa again, it won’t be here.
