THE ROOM 35:
We bought Dorfstraße 35 "in a fit of passion" – sometimes an impulse, a ray of sunlight shining through a dirty window into an abandoned house, is enough for an idea to emerge – a thought to become reality. But how do you transform an old, dilapidated "house with a frieze gable" into a cozy "industrial vintage drag queen"?

First: We dare to imagine the unthinkable – a completely different room layout, light – lots of light and preserving as much substance as possible – as few new components as necessary.

Second: We transform the look and maintain the appearance, we return the old furniture to the house "restored" and add new "old" unique pieces. In addition to the new heating system with stylish radiators, a tiled stove we refurbished brings warmth to the house, as does a sauna, mirrors, fabrics, books, a kitchen, a conservatory, a bathroom with all the bells and whistles, and all the other everyday objects we've gathered from everywhere. They form a bridge between us and the residents.

And other things: Room 35 has its own dune and is intentionally different. Love it or leave it.
