Mixed Feelings

Mixed feelings this trip. I often travel to Tauranga and tried this hotel out last month for the first time. Enjoyed the room, was disappointed by the lack of dinner options and the soundproofing wasn't great. But I decided to give it a second chance. The front reception team are lovely! The room is modern with everything you need. But the lack of sound proofing is so bad. There was a wedding on and in this case you think they would pop guests (I booked early) well clear of their function space. I was directly above. The noise was awful. Back in the room I can hear every word the guests in the next room said till they finally went to sleep after midnight. This place has everything going for it but they need to invest in better soundproofing. Best scrambled eggs in NZ!
