You’ll have access to the full property and we will respect your privacy.

There are a few other rentals in the neighborhood, please be respectful of your noise level after sunset.

We do not supply charcoal or firewood, you will need to bring some or purchase locally.

The house is off a well maintained county dirt road suitable for any vehicle. We do recommend having a spare tire and equipment to change a tire.

Please bring along plenty of drinking water or plan to boil our tap well water.

Bucket list for my 72 year old Aunt

My Aunt has wanted to do the River Road in Bend National Park. This was a great base camp. We really enjoyed the porch and the great cooking options. I used the pool everyday. We will definitely book again. Our only downside would be the lack of a rail for the steps. All in, my Aunt had an amazing trip and we enjoyed this home!

Pool House number 2 was a perfect home base for our Big Bend National Park trip. The house had everything we needed and was in a beautiful location (close enough to town, but far away enough to enjoy nature). My family (2 adults, 2 older kids) loved our stay here and definitely would recommend it to anyone and already are thinking about our return trip.

Great spot for family of 4

This is a great layout with two master suites and really nice outdoor area. Very close to one of the Big Bend NP entrances and enjoyed being near Terlingua Ghost town. For city dwellers, it has untreated well water, which I think stains the showers. It’s also a very nicely finished trailer. Many of the places in the area are trailers; just don’t be surprised.

We got engaged over the weekend on the property, and the beautiful landscaping looking over the ravine was the perfect backdrop <3 We are eternally grateful for the host making this space available to us, and the work they put into up keeping this oasis in the desert. We hope to be back soon.
