Villa el Portet (Moraira) is a wonderful villa with an authentic Mediterranean lifestyle, featuring a pool area, barbecue grill, and rooftop chill-out zone. It also boasts an incredible location, within walking distance of the beach, the best restaurants, and shops. Pets are welcome (€55 fee).

Distribution:
El Portet is situated on a plot of 845 m2 and has a constructed area of 220 metres distributed over a single floor that communicates through its large windows with the pool area at the front and the barbecue area and garage at the back.
On entering the property there is a parking area for 2 vehicles which gives access to the entrance of the house. The entrance to the property leads to a good hallway which on the left hand side leads to a large living/dining room with large windows overlooking the swimming pool area. The living room is conceptually divided into 3 areas, one for study, one for relaxed conversation on the sofas and one for watching television, which is at a slightly lower level.
Returning to the hallway, on the right hand side there is a toilet and then a large modern kitchen with mediterranean elements and a circular table with chairs.
Following the same corridor, we have all the rooms, firstly on the left hand side a room with bunk beds for 3 people that communicates with a bathroom that is shared with the next room that has 2 single beds. Following the corridor, on the right hand side there is another bedroom with 2 beds with en suite bathroom and finally on the left hand side another bedroom, this one with a double bed, a large window with access to the swimming pool area and an en suite bathroom. Additionally, there is a spacious study room with a large sofa bed.

As for the air conditioning, to cool the home in summer, we have air conditioner and ceiling fans in the living room and three of the four bedrooms (two are connected, so they are also cool). To heat the home in winter, we have a fireplace in the living room and electric radiators in every room.

The exterior of the property with a surface of 850 m2 very well distributed. On entering the plot we have on the left hand side an access door to the swimming pool area. If we go straight on from the entrance we will find a beautiful garden area that leads to a covered parking area. From the parking area we can enter the interior of the house at one end and at the other, go towards the laundry area and the barbecue area with paellero.
On the other side of the house, there is a large swimming pool, a small artificial grass area, a rest area with 2 sunbeds as well as a large terrace with a dining area and a social area with a sofa, armchairs and a coffee table.

Location:
El Portet is situated on the sea front. It is not necessary to use the car as less than 600 metres away there is a wide selection of the best restaurants, shops, beaches and supermarkets in the area as well as access to the marina of Moraira. Also, in the opposite direction, we can walk 5 minutes along a splendid path with panoramic sea views to the beach of the portet.
During your stay at this villa, you're just a quick walk from Castillo de Moraira. Features include an arcade/games room. A private pool and a kitchen are available in the villa.

You could see the sea from the pool area, the outside area was great & the pool was kept very clean. The distance from the villa to both el portet & morira was brilliant. The villa had everytime we needed & loads of space. Would definitely stay again.

Needs some TLC

Pros:The view is amazing and location couldn’t be better! Cons:There were some problems we could overlook like the musty smell of the villa. But, there are other problems that need mentioning so others are aware. The pool tiles were broken and loose causing our daughter to cut herself on one while playing in the pool. The home was dirty. The linens (towels, sheets, pillows) were stained. I am not talking one small stain but stains on almost all the linens. The biggest concern is the home is listed as having air conditioning. There was one air conditioner in the living room and none in either bedroom, bathroom or kitchen. This needs to be included in the description of the property. Especially during the hot summer months. Andre was very nice and purchased two fans for us. We had to purchase two more to make it tolerable. My husband has an heating and air conditioning business. If we had known the villa wouldn’t have air conditioning in almost all the rooms of the house he would have installed some in the other rooms while we were there. I’m sure these issues will be addressed and when they are this villa will be amazing!!!
