Originally built in 1850 as a single-story thatched cottage, the Disken family transformed it in 1890 into a distinctive two-story residence, complete with a unique rendered facade that still stands out today.
In 1947, local businessman Tim Devaney purchased the home, which remained in the Devaney family for many years, becoming a cherished part of the community’s heritage.
