Check in was not friendly. Had to ask where are the elevators? Where is dining room? What is wifi password? Morning check out was better. Rooms very dark.pillows are ridiculously lumpy.

the bathroom counter was coming off the wall, the bathroom door wouldn't close at first till I fixed it, the ironing board was covered in all kinds of spills and stains, there was a bunch of splattered stuff on the wall up by the ceiling, and the wallpaper was peeling off at just about every seam. The shower had excellent pressure, and the iron worked really well.

1st we got a full charge on our credit card the full amount of 441.00 not the 100.00 deposit so told. The room was hot and the pulgs did not work so we could not charger our phone's and the rooms are very drak all in all i would not stay here again this was our 3rd year to Thunder Bay.

So many homeless at the property, hallways are dirty, carpet too old bedding are all turned into yellow. The are lots of restaurants nearby this is the only thing we like.

Not what i expected, but i set my standards lower. It was good. Whole place could do with a little bit of a refresh though. Room looked onto the pool area. Not sure why there was a vent to the pool area but that allowed for a lot of noise to come into the room. Staff were friendly. Place was slammed so a lot of people there.

The hotel is ok. The staff are great - really helpful and friendly. However, there were sketchy people hanging around the outside of the hotel. The first ground floor room I was put in had a broken window that wouldn’t close, and the screen window frame was broken - it would have been very easy for anyone to enter the room from the parking lot.

Hotel good, noise level not great

The walls are super thin. Could hear full conversations of people next door. Doors sounded like they were slamming when needed to be pushed closed (not nice at 1:30 am, waking from a dead sleep). Lots of yappy little dogs.

Dirty towel in the washroom, pillowcases hadn’t been changed (I noticed the smell and thought it might have been the pillow inside, but when I checked in the morning I saw marks of black mascara, and I wasn’t wearing any). We only had 3 big towels in the bathroom, in spite of being 4 people, in a room with capacity for 5.

Stayed in a jacuzzi suite. Had a view, albeit over a parking lot and office building, off the sun seating over the Rockies each night. Breakfast was solid if unspectacular. The hotel was full when we stayed so the pool and hot tub area was filled with kids the three days we stayed. Very convenient if you gamble as Deerfoot Casino is literally across the street.

Nice updated rooms however didn’t care for the connecting door as could hear other guests in the next room. At one point the guest in the connecting room tried to open the door and was shaking it and turning the knob, kinda scary! Liked the hot tub however could only use for 15 minutes as it closed at 9, a bit early in my opinion.

Again the convenience from the Trans Canada was our reason for staying here. Comfort was OK, but we found that the laminate floors were dirty. After showering and walking around the room our feet were not clean.
