So many pros and cons about this property and stay!
Overall, we had a nice time, staff were all kind and helpful and very hardworking! The facility needs some help and things between the Sunia side and the Hotel side weren't always clear.
Pros: Lovely location, wonderful people. The property was beautiful, very picturesque, the beach access was delightful but steep stairs to get down. The included breakfasts were freshly cooked to order, we never opted for the chilaquiles, but the eggs and ham with fresh veggies, beans and tortillas was plenty of food. The restaurant views were lovely, great cocktails as well. There are a couple restaurants and shops within walking distance, totally worth checking out!
Good to Knows: The rooms were simple, no hooks or places to hang towels, no wash cloths, but generally pretty. Our door opened up to the 1st floor yard which we loved. The Sunia beach was often occupied by cruise tour groups, had all the beach chairs, toys, loud music etc, whereas the hotel beach has no tables or chairs to use but was much more quiet and peaceful. The pool was nice, but closes early, and the hot tub was out of order. The bed was not bad but had an uneven frame, we crammed some tissues under a corner so it didn't rock every time we moved or sat down.
Cons: The hotel is generally run down. We had no hot water in the shower (5 nights!), it was reported, but never fixed. Rules for the Sunia side weren't clear, some days they let us be there, some not.
