B Premier Room

B Premier Room had enough space for a couple and cabin luggage. Clean & functional. I like the firm mattress and en suite shower room. Amenities (toothbrush, slippers etc) are found at the reception floor

Loved it

We loved our stay. Room (king) quite small but we expected that. Comfortable bed and Brilliant hot shower.Nice that we got a daily free drink in the bar and free tea/coffee all day. Breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold dishes. Couldn’t fault this hotel.

This is a clean, basic hotel . The shower was fantastic. HVAC was quiet and easy to operate. Windows could be cracked open. Espresso machine in lobby 24/7. Basic breakfast, but no egg station. Evening bar with snacks. There's no restaurant but good choices within easy walk. Full service mini Mart at the end of the block. All in all, a great value as a base while in Tokyo.

Great stay

Hotel location was good with Family Mart right across and 5 mins walk to train station, amenities (when we noticed it - you have to go to the lobby and go inside a corner) were great - pjs, skin care and shampoo products in sachets, cotton pads and razors were complimentary. Free drink vouchers at the bar downstairs but they close by 11pm. Room was also nice.

We stayed at some wonderful hotels during our time in Japan. We were not impressed by the B Ginza. We arrived 40 minutes before check-in (2.20pm instead of 3pm) and were told abruptly by the receptionist “check in is at 3pm, you will have to wait”. That’s fine, but usually when you enter a hotel you are greeted first and made to feel welcome. We had come from a long journey and expected a warmer welcome and usually an explanation for not being able to check in (for example, sorry your room isn’t ready yet). We found the hotel location a bit weird on a random side street. The common areas of the hotel were crowded and not well cleaned - the floor in the elevator and the lobby were stained and dirty. Despite having “VIP access” through Expedia, we received no benefits and were certainly not treated like VIPs, given a room facing an office building on the 5th floor and opposite the elevators. The hotel was by no means cheap and we stayed at the Hotel 1899 previously in Tokyo and would definitely choose this hotel over the B Ginza.

This location is perfect to every where you want to go. From the train being near by and the food options it’s great. They offered free breakfast and were super helpful. There’s also a family mart directly across from the entrance. Being from the US we’re used to bigger rooms but ideally you won’t spend much time there. The shower was amazing and the soaps provided were great!
