The room was perfect! The hotel was exactly what I wanted for my trip to Japan. The owner was very communicative, sent a lot of info on how to check in, navigate the area, and overall really nice and helpful. The facility is very well kept and has a lot of amenities. I want to stay here again in the future!

The room was really small for a couple especially with 2 checked-in luggage and 2 carry on luggage however we were able to manage it. The price is worth the stay and budget friendly. It’s a residential area in Shinjuku, 5mins walk to train station. I like the place coz there is a washing machine inside the room, unlike other accommodation that you need to wait.

Place is a lot smaller than expected. It is not a good odea for 2 people. Had to buy batteries for when remote died. There is no drawers for clothes and the hangers didn't fit. Also, why have a vacuum take up so much space. The walls are also thin. You will have to tavel to Shinjuku for airport bus.

Room was clean, but very very small. I stayed here with my partner and we had a carry-on and a normal suitcase. It was tight, but we made it work and all we did was sleep there. Finding the place was pretty easy with the directions provided by the host.

Management was thorough in explaining directions and first time entry. My unit was different than the photo. The lower level was efficient, clean and compact. Had a nice shower and small stove, fridge and microwave so you can prepare some food. Also includes a combined washer dryer. The bed was in a low ceiling loft accessed by a steep ladder, so that required getting used to. The futon mattress was comfortable and there was a bean bag chair for lounging, next to the bed. My only ask would be a more comfortable chair on the lower level as the folding chair was a bit cramped, and not too comfortable for more than a few minutes. Location was good, relatively close to Shinjuku. Was a good value for the location in Tokyo and lots of cafes and combi markets within 5-10 min walk.

The place is perfect for a solo traveller and as a girl travelling solo I felt very safe in the area. The area is located slightly outside main touristic areas, which makes it more quiet and less crowded. There are shops, convenience stores, small restaurants and a pharmacy in the area. It’s well connected to two metro stations, easily reachable walking in less than 10 minutes. The room and facilities were very clean, very clear instructions were given about everything in the house and even about how to divide garbage. The stairs to reach the apartment were quite tight and it was hard for me to carry a big luggage up. Also the stairs to reach the bedroom were quite dangerous and difficult to climb up and down. Unfortunately, being quite tall, the bedroom ceiling was too low and had to bend down because otherwise I was going to hit my head. However, the apartment had everything I needed and the area was well connected with a lot of places, so definitely recommended. Communication was great, they gave me advice when asked and they responded very promptly within a couple of minutes!!

This property was extremely disappointing and misleading. The photos make it look much larger than it actually is — in reality, it’s a very cramped, uncomfortable space, totally unsuitable for working or even relaxing. The futon area had a strong sweat odor that became worse with the heat, making it impossible to stay. At first, there were no towels visible anywhere, and when found later, they didn’t feel properly cleaned. The water pressure in the sink was very low, and there were almost no accessible power outlets near the table. Overall, the apartment feels unhygienic and poorly maintained. I left the property immediately and booked another hotel. Expedia should review this listing carefully; it does not meet basic standards of comfort or cleanliness.

Place is clean and has everything needed for short stay but beware of the following: when receiving key code beware it might be buried in the email thread and even though the email indicates it will be sent the day before check-in it might actually attached to the email; if you have 2 people the place will not provide a second key even if you ask desperately multiple times, if you are starving and cannot leave the room unlocked you are out of luck - a key is required to lock the room; the toilet was able 5 inches from the folding door, you need a lot of flexibility to close the folding door and to force yourself to sit down on the toile - there were about inches of room between the 2 sides of the toilet; the sink outside the shower is so small with very little water flow that you would not want to use it, you will probably use the kitchen sink for everything. One positive aspect is the shower is nice with controllable hot water and that the place has all the necessities. I would not recommend this place.
