Our room had black tar stuff on the walls and the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking right onto the toilet. I would describe this place more as a “wet roof in.” also the air unit was covered in dust and mold . Pretty gross and not like the pictures.

The review for this property on executive drive in Toledo Ohio is completely wrong. There was old food frozen in the freezer. The room was dirty and completely run down. On a Wed night, there were people knocking on the door all night long. I believe this place is used for all kinds of activity. We left the next day and forfeited the cost of the next few nights as we did not feel safe. In talking to local residents, they said yuck and said everyone avoids that area as it is well known to be a sketchy place. The property did offer to relocate us but it was just not the right environment for us. Since we booked through Expedia, they would not refund the next three nights and Expedia declined as well saying the property declined to refund. Pointing Fingers!!!! I will not ever stay at a Red Roof In or use Expedia again for planning trips. Avoid this location at all costs!!!!!!

It felt a little ghetto, maybe it was more of the clientele utilizing the facility. I guess if you needed a cheap place to stay, it would be OK, but I didn't feel safe spending the night. In fact I didn't even stay the night. I tried checking out and there was no attendant so I just left.
