My stay at the Canopy by Hilton Toronto – Yorkville was very good overall. The rooms are beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated the electric-operated lighting and drapes — a great added convenience. I booked a wellness room, and having a Peloton right in the room was a huge bonus. It allowed me to work out privately after my conference instead of heading down to the gym. One area that could use improvement is housekeeping. They didn’t come by regularly, and I had to call down twice during my four-day stay. Additionally, the water refill station on my floor wasn’t working, and there was no sign indicating it was out of order. It took a bit of effort to figure out where I could refill my water bottle, as the working stations were on other floors. Overall, it was a good stay, and with a few small enhancements, it could be even better.

It was a lovely! The room was very modern and clean! The only complaint was that when we arrived at the room, the room door was not fully closed. It took us a moment to check our room to ensure no one was inside. Otherwise, a wonderful and comfy stay!

Mix review really. Went for my toddler birthday, asked for early check in which they did, getting into the hotel is not easy when coming by car with kids, 2 elevators to get to lobby, lots of friendly lobby staff, but they wouldn’t give us any dish soap when we requested for cleaning our baby bottles. clean rooms, but the sheets on top of the bed had a hole right in the middle, pool is salt water and warm which my child enjoys. We also ordered room service for 5 people, the food arrived almost cold and they couldn’t bring the Cart in the room we had to carry each individual plate inside appetizers mains and all and tip on top so that was frustrating with 2 toddler in our legs. But at least they had nespresso machine and a drawer fridge. The rooms were hot so we had air conditioner on all night which made my daughter cough we had to turn it off around 2 am because she was coughing so much which prevented everyone from sleeping. Then turn it back on at 4 am for 15 min and off again. The air was extremely dry. They gave a hard chocolate cake on a hard stone plate for my 4 year old, which is nicely intentioned but not toddler friendly. Some balloons or a little stuffed toy would have been much better.
