The Fairmont Royal York is a jewel in the heart of the GTA. Without exception each and every staff member we met during our stay made us feel as if we were their number one priority. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable people eager to help and provide first class service. I wish I could single out each and every staff member for jobs well done. The property was impeccably clean and the lobby areas were beautifully lit and furnishings well maintained. Dining and bar areas were unique and menus were diverse and well presented. The accommodation was well sized and appointed, the Gold floor experience was second to none and should be strongly considered as an option. Room service was very tasty, prompt and helpful employees as is the norm at the Royal York. The Royal York is a unique experience in a very competitive market and seems to set the industry standard when it comes to old school, first class customer service and is a remarkable lodging experience from beginning to end.
